Brought back LOTS of Great Memories. I owned a 1989 Indy 650 Bought it New and still miss it. Used to drive it 200 plus miles a day constantly over trails that were washboard in the UP of Michigan. Really enjoyed the Video - Awesome!
One time when I was a kid, I went around and started every truck and tractor, let them run. I had a thing for the way diesels smoked. And when mom had me use the Kirby vacuum, I was sure that did too if I worked it hard enough. And now, I'm a perfectly normal well adjusted adult, yes sir

Beautiful collection I was saying on one of your other videos we have a 1990s kf650 with 1500 miles on it original it was out in Colorado and it was stored for 30 years and I spent a couple days ago with Polaris Industries verify and internet luckyfind really enjoyed the videos
The 86 600 we had one but don't remember the pinstripe unless maybe it came on a le version with chrome ski covers.but thought that was only in 85.my memory is foggy

I have a 800 just like that and two 680's but damn them 600's are sweet. Especially with the original seats. Oh my goodness gracious I love them.
get some modblasters on that ultra though.
We have Slp pipes for the ultra, but it is in trail mode right now, the pipes are pretty crazy
The Indy 600 were my favourites...very quick...awesome sound...just like my 650 SKS and my old RXL 650 SKS

Nearly identical, in 96 they called it ultra sp(special) But why, I am not sure
Are those indy 600 motors better than the xlt 600?
Overall they are more durable and torquey than xlt from what I’ve heard, I’ve never owned an Xlt so I can’t tell you from my experience..
