Battery charge lasts longer if you bag as opposed to mulching. I believe keeping the grass under the mower to be cut and recut works the motor harder than if you bag the gras just gets right out from under the deck allowing for the motor to run in a more relaxed manner thus the battery charge lasts longer.

This makes sense, and I have had a couple of issues with it bogging down in thick, higher grass. I’ll start using the bag to see if it helps, thanks!

Was in my local Lowes mid- March 2024 and looked at this mower. They had three in stock and the price was 249.00. Then the first of April I looked at them again and the price is now 325.00. Amazing.

Had to do a follow up. As of April 6 They have a sign saying was 325.00 on sale for 249.00. So, it is now back to 249.00 April 6 2024.
