I am not hopeful about the potential keeper options. It really sounds like we are going to spend another 40 million on someone's second or third choice keeper and it won't be an improvement over Petrovic

Legends like Azpi and Kante never had crowd surfers of this magnitude let alone banners of any sort… so yeah the state of some fans is pretty comical.
@@iannnCFC I do agree it’s probably a futile attempt to show displeasure to the recruitment team, but I don’t think it’s really a bad gesture in this case. Gallagher wants to stay, performs well and looks like one of the few players who actually cares this season. It’s not like he’s trying to leave and trying to join spurs.
I guess being on the side of a recruitment team with the worst record in the league over the last 18 months is a better stance to have? Maybe we should put a banner up for them instead saying how great they are?

For ME though, I’m just not a fan of this approach. I think as fans there’s more we can do to show the board our displeasure and back our players at the same time.
Creating a massive banner for Conor in this trophyless season when he might be out the door by summer, is just a waste of resources and time from the fans.
If it does get the board to keep Gallagher, then fair play… I’ll eat my words 😂

There is a contradiction at the heart of the project. The owners buy players that might yield a sale value in the future and the manager plays a formulaic system irrespective of the players available to him. It will never work.

Well, I am not so sure they will sell Gallagher&Chalobah. 55m£ of Mount sale are in books for this year. There is 30m£ for Lewis Hall and 35m£ for Maatsen. That's 120m£. 106m£ Chelsea need to avoid points deduction or transfer ban. Also it is expected 37m£ for Lukaku and at least 15-20m£ for Broja.
They could spend 300-400m£ in the summer .

Actually the real reason is because he is a team player and is willing and able to adapt to any role despite clearly not being good at it but we all know his best position and role. He is an 8 a box to box midfielder who excels at winning the ball, covering his teammates and getting into scoring position

Selling Gallagher a player who is always fit to play every game and he's doing well. he could be a back up when lavia is fit to play. Remaining with players like nkunku, chilwell Carney and James who always get injured it's criminal.
I remember watching Bulka in pre match practice for us a few times, back when Rob Green was around I think, remember thinking he looked like he had something to him.
I wouldnt mind having him back, don't think he was with us long enough to qualify as club/home grown or anything.
