The production quality is insane, I thought the documentary of the original send is pretty good, but this video gives such detail into the route I wish more routes are described the same way.
Truly amazing! Almost like an instruction manual on how to send the route
Got, Ya. Explanation is good but I would prefer less cuts and actually see him in one cut goin up. Following the route now is quite difficult for me.
@@8UrN3r he is still working on doing the whole route in one cut. So far he did all the moves but not in one go. This is why this video has all the cuts.
Realizing how hard it must be to get a camera in position for each of these really makes you appreciate the effort that went into this
agreed
That first shot is what we needed to realize how extreme the route is.
Yes in that moment you can see how long and difficult the route really is!
Absolutely beautiful line though. Adam definitely knows how to bolt a masterpiece
Yeah I thought the same :D
I just waited for the first crux to pop up but it felt like an eternity to get there.
It's so amazing that Stefano can change his shirts and pants during the ascent, so so insane đ Number one Steghiso!
that's why the kneebar positions are there
Is he starting with 5 shirts and 3 pants? Ok, it can be quite cold in Norway! ;)
You never realize how much climbing comes before the crux in Adam's video. You're putting down so many moves before going crazy on that crack.
As a boulderer, I was like holy heck during the intro with the red line. I was like where does this thing stop. It keeps going and going. The level of climbing these guys are at is astonishing
@@HaloEraser agreed. So so much technique and strength needed. Huge props to these dudes
Even with the knee bar rests, you are still extremely fatigued I imagine. It's insane someone could pull off a v15 boulder problem after all of that and more afterwards.
Yeh I kept thinking when is the crux comingâŠ. Adam said the boulder is in the middle of the route⊠looks like itâs the last third and feels like itâs right at the end.
Thats what she said
There goes my onsight
"and these were all, MA PROPRIO all the holds on silence" is definitely my favourite bitđ
That's so funny...I had to listen to it again to catch that... Snuck that Italian right in there
@@neilgjohnson i did the same. I'm italian but i wasn't sure he actually said that, so i listened to it twice ahaha
đđđ
Said it before: Hands down best climbing content on the internet.
You guys have really raised the standard for the whole scene
I support this message!
This video more than any I have seen previously illustrates the remarkable vision of Adam Ondra. This route seems so complex including knee bars, compression, foot jams, toe hooks, single finger locks etc. That, and a V15/16 boulder problem crux is just insane. Thanks Stefano for clarifying this route for us. You are setting the bar for all future climbing content and I hope you are able to send this route someday!
it is a 7b boulder problem on the route which is v8 not 15/16
@@lolyeetdabamiright5831 its a v8 boulder problem before the crux, which is the v15/16
@@lolyeetdabamiright5831 the 7b is before the crux. Ondra has said the crux is V15 and in Stefano's last video he said it might be even harder than that.
@@lolyeetdabamiright5831 â
@@lolyeetdabamiright5831 lol
You're so good that you were able to change clothes while climbing the hardest route in the world. What a legend
Ans shoes!
đđ
great visualisation in the beginning. didnât realize how long the route is. absolutely mindblowing
When the text came up as total rest knee bar I though it was referring to the no hand one at the end of the route. what an absolute monster of a route and it's crazy that some people wonder why Adam stopped where he did.
Thought the exact same thing, imagine climbing such a long route at this steepness on trash holds. Absolute insanity.
@@Hopesfallout the rests look amazing though
@@Itzbrain I think he expalins in a recent QA video. Basically from there, the interesting climbing ends and climbing further doesnt add any grade, so it feels like a good natural ending
Yep, 45m (148 ft) with a v15 boulder in the middle. Absolute monster of a route
Not sure I've ever seen any route broken down this thoroughly in a video, it's awesome. Thank you!
I recommend that you also check czcams.com/video/Vgdd7OnOv-4/video.html . Not the same video quality, but definitely intense and also funny here and there
Try this one đ
czcams.com/video/NdLUe2M04PA/video.html
It's like a tutorial for a route that probably doesn't need a tutorial.
My goodness man cant even get words how good the camera man (or woman đ ) catched the holds. This content from Stefano and his Team from silence is incredible good and beautiful. I'm overwhelmed and highly thankful for you sharingâ€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïžđđ
This video gives us so much insight to Silence, it even makes me feel like I am there
Mate, you are gonna send the 2nd ascent - EVERYONE in the climbing world is behind you!!!!!!
I always found adams videos never really showed the route in full, really nice to see it in more depth
yeah Adam's vid is for those who enjoy close-up shots of constant, excruciating pain :D
Best video ever. Shows me what I want to see - the climbing . Don't want fancy shots in slo-mo, coffee brewing, people talking. To see the holds on something so amazing is quite awesome
THANK YOU
This is exactly the kind of video we want to see when we hear that someone is trying a really hard route!
Thanks!
That intro was so fucking amazing. Chills before the first minute of the video lol
The part before the first crux looks really cool, I would love to try that.
This might be the best climbing video on all of CZcams
I'm guessing there won't be a downgrade for this one. Video quality and production are incredible. Loving this series. Thank you for this
But Stefano said that climbing 3/4 of the first part of the route (before 1 crux) is not much affecting the whole climb because of this knee bar were he can fully recover
@@mrmoorash still a v15/16 plus more
@@mrmoorash Stefano already mentioned in his q and a video that there wont be any downgrade most likely. Which makes sense when you consider you have to climb a v15/v16 followed by a V13/V14 and connect them with a ton of other V8+ moves. Thereâs no other climb that comes even close to this.
It's so easy Stefano could even change his shirts during the ascent, downgrade incoming
I think that at this point the actual question is whether it is harder than 9c/5.15d
If you are wondering what he said at 8:42: âthese were all, ma proprio all the holds of Silenceâ. âMa proprioâ is Italian, in this case you can translate it with âreallyâ. I liked that mamma mia touch
The early section with the funky holds looked amazing.
I love these videos that focus on the moves and holds. Thanks so much for filming them!
Amazing job showing and explaining the route to you Stefano and the whole team! Keep going, man, we believe in you!
Thank you for these videos. Itâs awesome to see such high quality production, so many beautiful details. Glad to see youâre having fun trying the route too. Best of luck for next year and we all believe in you that you can do it!
The rock looks INCREDIBLE. Those features after the solid kneebar rest seem wonderful.
Some of them looked more like sandstone than granite, fascinating
Awesome route, climbing and video production! Amazing!
This video hands down will get more people to attempt Silence. It will be the breakthrough video.
This is so perfect, gives so much perspective on what the climbing looks like up close
Absolutely amazing to see the route get broken down this in-depth. Now I want to see all of the other iconic routes be examined like this as well :D
Great. One of the most unique climbing channels, awesome that you show the route in souch a detail. Good luck on Silence Stefano.
The whole route looks amazing. Beautiful rock. Great video!
Amazing video, thank you!! Iâm loving the constant updates!
This was amazing, seeing closeups of all the holds and how you described the beta so clearly. Keep up the amazing work!
This is a masterpiece of a video! That felt so good. Almost like climbing it! Good job to the team for producing it, and thanks you for trying the route Stefano! :)
Love all this detail on the route. It's really nice being able to see each move and understand where each technique is used.
This video is totaly amazing, it miss so much in climbing ascents, so so beautiful to see these olds, the route in details ! It needs to become a standard ! Thank you
What a treat! Godspeed!
you litteraly made it look easy, that says a lot about your incredible talent
This was brilliantly shot. Thank you for putting in the effort to do this.
Excellent! Grazie Stefano & team!
Man... the quality goes beyond any climbing video on CZcams! that's pure love! You will send it for sure! Keep it up!
I've watched a lot of climbing videos but this one may be one of my absolute favorites. I love the step-by-step commentary on what makes each move unique or challenging and the close up of each hold is something we don't often get to see. EXTREMELY GREAT JOB TO ALL THOSE INVOLVED IN MAKING THIS. Good luck on the send!
Love when Stefano does a walkthrough of his projects. This one is đ„
This is crazy good. Making it look easy while explaining the movement thoroughly is perfect!
Wow, more please! This is crazy good!!
You really nail all the questions we have sitting behind a screen without the chance to observe the route in person. Bravo!
Oh yes, I was waiting for this one ... Thank you Stefano
Another amazing video. Thanks Stefano and team
Great video. It's all good knowing this is the hardest route but this video shows us exactly why. I have so much respect for you working this route and for Adam piecing this route together.
Wow, this is just incredible⊠even a non climber can understand the difficulty of each section, let alone linking them. I share your new videos with all my climbing friends, keep at it. Iâd love to see you make the second accent. Go stefano!
Thanks for providing such great close up detail of the route. It's really fascinating!
I really enjoy this breakdowns of the route, when every move is explained. It reminds me of the la dura dura video of Adam and Chris , when they explain the crux sequenz. Also i think this was the first time i really saw the whole route in a nice shot and it is massive ! Thanks for the the work man! Your videos are really special and well made ... i love it!
I enjoy every Silence video but this one is the best! Thank you so much! That's what Adam didn't show us)). Especially first 40 seconds!
This video is just insane, not about the most difficult route yet, but the vibes and the beta, the narration, thank you for this gift. It's like it's Christmas sooner this years
Honestly, I think this video series is currently the best climbing series on CZcams. Thank you for documenting it all!
This series has been amazing, i really hope there will be an uncut video when you send it
I absolutely love this video! Thank you! Super interesting, I would love to see detailed breakdowns of more really hard climbs you do in the future.
omg that first shot was insane ! The way you follow the route from bottom to the top and then get this gorgeous view of the whole cave !
I'm so excited to see that production level, unbelievable.
This might have been the best video in the channel in terms of production. Nice!!
So cool, thank you Stefano for all those videos!
The production quality of these episodes is on same level with free solo imo. Absolutely incredible job. You guys really make this series into a masterpiece. Congratulations
Bravi ragazzi! Finalmente un video da 10! Toccante!
Love the in-depth look! Keep'em coming!
Dude this video... is straight up gold.
Watching these really puts into perspective the passion Adam had for this line, and I finally understand why it is so good, the crux section is so beautiful and complex, it mustâve been amazing finally figuring out the sequence
I am so impressed by Stefano - and his team of course! The coverage of this attempt has been absolutely riveting, not to mention funny, insightful, and just beautifully shot. Kudos!
That little route overview with the key points in the start just shows you how long the route actually is, the endurance both AO and SG have is insane.
What a great format!! Following each step of a route is always amazing but with this quality of footage it's just wonderfull.
Please... more...
Some of the most stunning rock Iâve ever seen.
All your videos on Silence are amazing but this was my favorite! Thank you so much for sharing :)
Thanks for this video, love the idea to show each move of Silence with rigorous explanation!
Love this, thanks for the insight
Video pazzesco! Le tue spiegazioni super dettagliate sono assolutamente le migliori đ€© quanto alle prese....ronchie e zanche benessere forever â€ïž complimenti come sempre a tutto il team per la qualitĂ altissima!
Love this, you can do it!
One of the best videos ive seen for really understanding why a climb is hard
Fantastico format. Grazie
The first shot is awesome ! It gives a pretty good feeling of how overhanging, hard, long, sick and beautiful the line is.
This is such a cool look at the route!
I just love your series on Silence! So funny, interesting, engaging! Keep them coming!
WOW. what a great video. Thanks.
These videos make me respect Adam's accomplishment even more! So cool!!
Super well done video! Thanks!
One of the most interesting sport climbing videos I've ever seen!
Amazing... tbh video is so good, that I got pumped just looking at the moves.
Great feat.
Sick video! Thanks stefano and crew
Super well done video, I was captivated the whole time. Thank you for providing such good videos of a potential second ascent of such a historical route.
no pain, no gain - so the favorite hold is: the painful slot (at 5:21-5:30). Questo video Ăš davvero incredibile!!!
so cool! thank you for sharing
IncreĂble vĂdeo! Q buena producciĂłn, q buena narraciĂłn... de la escalada ni hablamos!
Un HURRA para todo el equipo! El q sale en el VĂdeo y tod@s l@s q estĂĄn detrĂĄs!!
This was an epic breakdown! Thanks Stefano and team!!
Thank you for this close look on Silence holds ! Love the choice of background music as well, it creates a calm and solemn atmosphere. The good holds after the first rest are amazing!
Good luck with this project!
Thanks for sharing! So interesting!!!
Thank you for doing this video. That must have been so much work, and it was really well done.
I LOVE those videos
Thanks Stephano!!
Thanks for the video Stefano, helps a lot!
Brilliant video. Rock climbing can be difficult to translate onto film as so much detail of the holds/steepness/movement is lost. But this film does it better than any I've ever seen before.
Showing the anatomy of a route like this is super cool! This is your best content so far. I hope you get to send it soon, that would be sick! Good luck and stay safe!
Great video, production quality is also even more amazing than ever
