You really put on for black faces in pro audio. Thank you, sir !
Thank you for the honesty that not all devices are absolutely top-notch and should definitely be purchased!
We appreciate you Czar
I got the PreSonus Quantum HD2 today and it is awesome.
I'm definitely ordering a HD8 soon. Maybe 2. One for the house and for the studio
I agree abt softube flow mastering.
Thx for your videos Czar
I can never get the newer harrison pluggins to work. Perhaps they don't come in VST2? I run it on ableton 9, so maybe that's my problem. It's just you'd think I wouldn't need to upgrade..
I saw an article where the guy said that he actually went inside the 369 and that it did have diode inside I’m trying to remember the actual article
Why would you not put that in your marketing material then? Smh. 😒
Thank you
Many people who purchased the Presonus Quantum audio interfaces are saying that the USB is not powering the units and they had to use a separate power brick to power these new interfaces.
I've had my quantum HD 8 for 2 weeks now and no issues at all
@@TheAudioCzar Awesome, I'm planning to get the Quantum ES2 to replace my very old Audient id14
i got the softube flow. i already had a shade more than half of the plugins for all the flows. no it isnt ai but the chains are really nice and they can sound great. personally i think its more awesome when your mastering something you didnt mix yourself. i think its awesome. yes its subscrition but you get to use all the plugins individually and when u have the chains you want u can cancel and your all good the wrapper is yours. it may not be for everyone but i myself was glad it wasnt ai
Love your monthly round ups. Icon has released some new microphones but there hasn't been much talk about them. Icon Space 251. Icon Space 87 and Icon Space 67. What are you thoughts if any?
Icon? I haven't heard of that brand
@TheAudioCzar icon makes control surfaces. Such as Qcon Pro for example. Just saw the have a microphone called Martian that looks a lot like Blue Microphone Mouse
@@MegaMonaco1 oh! Okay yeah I know icon, Just not as a microphone company
@TheAudioCzar they are very competitively priced. Can you get a hold of some for a review? On another note, have you heard any feedback about the Barefoot Footprint 03? I was interested in purchasing them. But haven't seen many independent reviews.
Czar, love your channel and these monthly roundups but I'm a bit surprised you didn't even mention the latency questions around the new "Quantum" interfaces. Not that you had to take a position but the fact these new interfaces have significantly worse latency than the original Quantum line (which were famous for one thing) seems worth mentioning.
I haven't had the new interfaces myself to test, but when I met with PreSonna prelaunch I believe they said they were 4.3 milliseconds faster than the original
@@TheAudioCzarah, okay, thought you were following the discussion on your original video. New interfaces are significantly higher latency than the original quantum interfaces because they’ve moved from thunderbolt to usb and also added dsp. They’re not even fast for usb interfaces (RME are faster). Of course some people won’t care but I think it’s fair to say that many people use the original quantum interfaces for their incredible low latency. You can track direct from the daw without having to worry about routing or latency.
Here's to hoping you get your hands on the new Behringer units.
I see they announced their 2-channel Neve clone today as well. We don't need anymore never clones 🙄
@@TheAudioCzar well although I can see your point, post cvid prices have definitely been in full effect and Warm doesn't really occupy the "affordable" space the same way they used to. I'm thinking Behringer might be moving in there.
Not to say the Warm gear isn't decent priced and they are worth it, just that yeah nothing there for true entry level rn and the whole Internet finished poo poo ing Klark Teknik now usually noting "this is Behringer" as one of the knocks, I think it's a good move for them to just put Behringer on their gear since that's what it is and since Klark's been run through the trenches at this point.
@@TheAudioCzar Yeah bro I agree with you on the Behringer 🙄 They never innovate, just steal other people's designs and change it just enough to not get sued.
Czar, how are you liking the WA1B?
I sent it back. Had it on loan for the review
@@TheAudioCzar got you, thank you for the reply.
I had the old version of the the 32C Channel before Harrison merged with SSL. Too bad it wasn't a free upgrade like the Bus or VIP
I have the 32 channel to. I'll need to look into it but they just released a new console and I thought that this plug-in was from that new console
