      In all of my training we weren’t taught to tint like this, I’ve done two lash lift courses and a 1-1. None of them tint like this, you’re supposed to apply the tint with the lashes still on the shield. You’re also not supposed to get them wet for 24hrs, so not sure why she used water. This is wrong

    • @EstiSara
      @EstiSara Před 2 lety +23

      @@abbyyoung5214 actually its not wrong. The reason we tell clients not to get them wet is because it can alter the shape when they dry back down. See, the hair shaft is a little soft after the process for a day until they harden back up again so i always tell my clients to "TRY not to get them wet for 24 hours but if they do its not the end of the world.. I give them a spoolie and tell them brush them back up and make sure they dry that way, also don't go home and take a nap on your face lol" I use ellebana too and the glue is water soluble so u literally HAVE to wash them with water or they'd have glue on them. Its all about how they dry.. not about if they get wet or not.

    • @HuyanaBeauty
      @HuyanaBeauty  Před 3 lety +31

      Hey, this is actually a really tough one. I’m usually getting the opposite question 😂
      If you used the largest shield and left the product on for maybe one minute less I believe you would be able to take out the extreme curl, for a more natural curl. Or there is something you can do to relax the lashes this is when someone might have over permed the lashes and want to straighten them out a little, you apply perm solution to the lashes (not on any shield) and brush with a lash comb downwards for 2-3 minutes until you notice the lashes have stared to drop, then wash the product off and apply the second step for 1 minute, repeating the motion. Although I have never had to try this, I believe this does work :)

      I found this on a beauty blog: "As some of you have been told not to wet lashes for 24 hours I've noticed many are dry wiping products to remove - this will leave a residue on the lashes allowing the product to continue developing - causing over processing. We ensure on accurate development times according to the natural lashes so not to cause any damage, if your dry wiping you may aswell forget timing anything! PLEASE make sure you remove products with WET cotton pads, thoroughly, especially the fixing lotion as this is in fact the stage that can cause most damage if left on too long. Have you ever seen a hairdresser perm someones hair, then not wash it out for 24 hours?" Makes sense to me!!

      Hey girl. So glad this has helped :)
      That’s also the glue I use. I do find sometimes people’s eye shape make it harder for the glue to stick, If you find the shield is popping up. I actually start lifting the lashes onto the shield in that area first and once the lashes are glued onto the shield it holds the shield into place, if that makes sense.
      Also if your glue is becoming thick, I find I need to throw away and start using a fresh glue.

    • @laurawathen5904

      Lash curlers are very harsh and damaging to your eyelashes and it only gives a short temporary result where as the lash perm is is a longer result

    • @charlottel3158
      @charlottel3158 Před 3 lety

      A lash lift is literally using chemicals on the lashes to change how the lashes naturally bend. It's the same as a perm for your hair, you're processing the lashes with chemicals. In my experience lvl does make my lashes slightly more brittle and slightly thinner. I don't get that with lash curlers. Providing you're using lash curlers that are decent and regularly replacing the pads on them so they're still intact, and are gentle when you squeeze, I'd personally say it's less harmful. That's not to say you shouldn't try an lvl, but make sure you go to someone experienced - if they leave the solution on slightly too long it can fry the lashes.
