Thank you so so much for this AMAZING video! It was super informative and very clear! Clear angles and everything. Wow! Fantastic job! This gives me an extra confidence boost for practicing my lash lifts! Thank you again!
Thank you, great to hear you will keep on lash lifting, it’s such a fun treatment and lasts ages for the client.
All my clients have their eyelashes washed before an eyelash lift treatment. That being said, if the glue is being used on multiple people I recommend you use disposable brushes to keep your glue hygienically safe. Also note if you are using saran wrap to help process the lift, you may need to reduce the processing time, you need to adjust according to the lash health, strength and curl.
What’s the name of the glue that u use? The one that I use does keep the pads and lashes in place or takes for ever for me to put the lashes on place
Thank you so much for such a clear and informative video. I am currently training in lash lift and tints and this has really helped. The fine brush looks like an absolute game changer! X
You are welcome, these are just little things I learnt along the way but the brush getting into the roots makes the biggest difference 💗
I love your techniques! ❤
So helpful! Thank you!
One of the best tutorial ive ever watch. Thank you
Thank you, I always hope something in my videos helps somebody x
This is the best lash lift and tint video I have found. Thank you! I’m ordering that brush asap!
Did my own lash lift yesterday after watching a few tutorials online. I wish I had seen this sooner, my results wouldve been so much cleaner and professional lookinh
Don’t be too hard on yourself, I don’t think it’s that easy to do it on yourself
Just got my first kit & doing all the research I can beforehand. This is the most comprehensive & helpful video I’ve seen yet. Thank you so much!
Thanks for watching. Happy lash lifting!
Thank you for this, I did my own lash lift yesterday, turned out great
Omg did it!?? I love it!
After one month look good or not??
I did mine and it didn’t work :( I had been using m shield and my lashes are really straight so I will try again soon using thre S
@@diablatf if your lashes don’t like to curl and are super strong, try to leave the treatment on a tiny bit longer too. That’s what made mine work better
Great video 🙌🏼. Thank you for the tips!! 😘
Thanks for watching! ☺️
super helpful video! im trying to do my own lash lift but i cant seem to get the silicone pads to stick to my eyelid, i've even tried 3 different glues. any suggestion?
omg thank you so much for the helpfull advise and tips ❤
Awesome tips! Cant wait to try these on my next lift! I was curious why we were taught to wash off the lashes at the end of the treatment with a wet (water) 4x4, but then advise the client not to get their lashes wet for 24 hours -this makes more sense!!
Thank you for the kind comment. It wasn’t until I did brow lamination and used the oil to remove the tint I thought WHY am I using water on the lashes and also the aftercare makes no sense if you are washing the tint out 😂🤷♀️
Can we clean tint with micellar water as well?
I was literally thinking the same thing!
Thank you for all these tips I'm going to try them and let you know how it works for me.
Best of luck!
Thank you! I’m definitely going to try the mini brush tip to get the products right into the base of the lashes !! Great tip! Xx
Glad it was helpful! Do avoid the water line though.
@@galaxydreaming thanks, do you have any tips for getting the shield on? I always find this so hard
@@lillyspelman2479 For standard shields I gently lift the eyelid back (kind of near the crease) to help lift the lid back and see the lash line better, then I can get my shield close to the lash line and it seems to remove the creases in the eyelid (if you know what i mean) making this skin more smoother to attach to. Hopefully that makes sense? There are newer shields out now that don't require glue and I've tried them, they do work without glue, look up katya_vinog on insta
Thanks so much!
You're welcome!
Your work is absolutely beautiful! 💕💕
Thank you, I still love doing lifts 😊 they make a big difference
Thank you very much
Such an amazing and informative video. Also your voice is so soothing😊 May I ask what glue you use? I’ve been through about 5 different brands of glue and none stick as well as yours do. I am UK based, so not sure we’ll have the product you are using, but we never know! 😊 thank you in advance! And thank you for such a great video 😊💗
Thank you so much! I do make asmr videos as well for relaxation :) The glue I use is from a kit called Clione however I recently was given another to try which I have to say is just as good which is a brand called Lash & Go. I was given the glue by another colleague and not sure where she got it but maybe that will help.
Awesome. Thank you for sharing as I am just learning this was so helpful.
Thank you for watching the video and the comment :)
What a beautiful lift ❤
Loved your video! When I remove the pads, any tips on what I can use to get the glue off my eye lid? When I did my last lab lift, I tried so hard to get the glue off my eyelid that now I’ve drastically damaged my skin 😞
Thank you, oh no sorry to hear about your sore eyelid. This does happen regularly with my clients (the glue sticking on) so I use a little bit of the keratin oil to help dislodge the remaining glue. I believe the oil helps dissolve the glue, alternatively eye make up remover but be careful to avoid any product on the lashes for 24 hours as usual
Thank you so much for the tips ❤
☺️🤍
Thank you so much you helped a lot !!! 😍😍😍
Yay! So good to what that 👏🏻👏🏻
These are very good tips! Thank You 💛
Glad it was helpful!
thank you so much. the video is so helpful. would you mind sharing how we check timing ? what is the type of thick, medium thick or thin natural lashes? or what is the best time you will use for everyone in average?
Timing is based on the manufacturers instructions, they can differ, some have longer times for solution 1 opposed to solution 2 then other kits leave solution 1 on longer than the 2nd so I can’t give you general timing. Let’s say though if the solution said 12 mins for a solution and the lashes were medium thickness I might do 10 mins. Tbh it’s about getting used to your kits solutions and following their guide
Very very helpful. Thank you 😊
Glad it was helpful :)
Thank you!
not sure if you have a video on this topic, but i’d love to see one where you give tips to clients on maybe how to maintain a lash lift and whatnot! i loved this video 😁☺️
Looove it, thanks so much for the tips! Can you still use the keratin or nutrition oil to remove the product if you are not tinting the lashes?
Yes I use oil to remove the tint as I avoid using water
So can you explain which shield size is for which curl
Like we can use any size right
Beautiful video! What if the corners of the shaping rod don’t want to stick to the inner and outer corners well ? I’m having all kinds of trouble with that . And is it best to go darker with the lash tint so that it still pops as it fades ? Thank you ! Love your accent ❤
I used to have that issue on some eye shapes until I switched to silicone glue free style shields and rods like ellebana make, they are soo much better and worth switching to, alternatively you'd need to use more glue in that area or tape them down with a bit of micropore tape. With regards to the tint my go-to is blue black, funnily enough it is deeper and darker than plain black, which looks flat. Hope that helps you!
Which spole did you use on the client? ☺️
Thank you!!! Great tips! 2 questions: 1- what keratin oil do you use and 2- is it necessary to use plastic wrap (client who is sensitive and it bothers her). Thank you in advance!!!
I use the keratin oil provided in the kit I purchase which is Clione. I don’t always cover lash lifts no
I used Lash Lift kit of Thuya, but i dont like the result, the lashes they are not return good. What do you think for these products?
Thank you for this useful video! 🌹
I have a question, now i did lvl for my lashes yesterday and the process took 45 mins, but unfortunately my lashes barely lifted :/, so after watching your video i believe that my lashes are thick and down, so is it possible to do it again today, and what is the longist processing time for it.
If you have already tried processing them for the full time you now risk over processing your lashes if you were to do it again with the same times within 6 weeks of the original lift. The only corrective lifts I have done is straight after when a lift has not worked and I’ve put the solution 2 on for a bit longer but kept it at the roots (never to the tips). It’s easy to fry your lashes, you may be best to wait
Thank youu soo much ❤️❤️
Thank you for this video 🙂
Thank you for visiting my channel ☺️
Can we asking about the pads lashes is 1 single used?
Hey! Do you usually dry your eyelashes when you finish? Ty, love it
Hi, not usually, I like to wipe off excess keratin but not dry them, the process is drying so I try to leave the lashes as nourised as possible
Great video and tips Thankyou
Glad it was helpful!
te amo / i love you, you save me! here in Chile Country is so hard found someone trainer know this, because have a technique old.Yours videos so cool thank you!
Great to hear!
Hi, where you buy glue? Thanks
Hi! Great video, thank you for sharing your tips. This is my third time doing my own lashes, this time after applying solution 1 and removing it, it completely removed the glue as well, making my lashes come off the pad, and my lift didn't take. I have no idea what I did wrong, do you have any suggestions?
Lashes pinging off the shield after removing solution one is a beauticians worst nightmare, I hate when this happens, I now keep some lami balm in stock and set them back, I also firmly apply saranwrap over them to keep them on the shield.
Which product are you using?
Hi! Great tips! Ty. When using the Small for the straight thick lashes - how much longer do you leave the solution on without “frying” the lashes?
Oh and what do you recommend for the shortest time in between lash curl appointments?
Heya, the longest time depends on the kits recommendations. They can be different, my current kit says 12 for solution one but my old one was 8. Shortest time between lifts is 6 weeks
Wow it looks so beautiful 🥰
Thank you I love doing lash lifts, a great alternative option from lash extensions
Hey what shield do you use ? X
Great video
I used an m size shield but I prefer m1 or m2
really really helpful, just did my own lash lift and had better results than the salons!
Hey where did you buy your lash lift kit and what was it called?
@@brooklynray9536 Hey! I bought the Diablo lash lift kit off their website (the one with 5 sachets included)
😮 wow amazing
@galaxydreaming What is the glue you use to stick the rods and the lashes ??? I feel like a just can't get the lashes to stick throughout the procedure 😫
Thy glue was Stacy lash glue, the key is putting it on and then using a fan for 1-2 seconds to help it get sticky and grip, if it gets too dry apply a little more glue as you push them onto shield
Fab!!!!
what products are best
i did mine for the first time today and they turned out okay :/ i have downward facing eyelashes that are quite long and they barely curled at all. they didnt really stay on as well im guessing the glue quality wasnt great? do you recommend any other glues ?
thanks!
I use the glue that comes with the kit from www.designerlashes.co.nz
Great video, really helpful💗
I wish I had found your channel before I did my lift!🤩🤩
I have long lashes and so I used pad size L, they were lifted very good and from a frontal glance, they looked great, from the profile view though, they were L shaped.. I only applied the solutions to the base line but I would like to get a round natural curl instead of an L shape one.. what could I've done wrong?
Thank you😘
You may not of bought up the solution to the actually rounded part of the shield, you have to avoid the tips tho so that is why you need to choose a shield that your lashes sit half way up in order to get the rounded curl. Hope that makes sense x
@@galaxydreaming hi, so on short lashes i should be using an M shield because it will lay half way? my lash lifts arent coming out curled :(
@@elizabethsiliezar2350 m shield is generally a noticeable lift, if your lashes aren’t curling it’s more likely your processing times of the solutions or using too much glue to stick the lashes back to the shield which creates a barrier for the solution to work. Also make sure you’re lashes are dry before sticking to shield
Hey, how's it going? I'm from Brazil.
I thought your work was wonderful.
I'm looking for quality products... Could you tell me which kit you use? explain me a little?
Thanks
I use the lash lift kit from www.designerlashes.co.nz
I do my own lash lift and I could say that it kinda looks okay but I just wanna ask if ever some eyelashes did not perm enough can it be cured again for that particular part of the eyelashes after a week? Thank you❤
You have to be really careful processing lashes again within 5 weeks (that’s the minimum I allow clients to come back at). They can easily become over processed and dehydrated, in saying that tho if you are using a very gentle solution lashes can be fixed but often the processing time will be much shorter like 2 minutes etc
@@galaxydreaming thank you so much. Godbless and keep safe always❤️. Love from the Philippines
Good advice.
Thank you
Hii, what kind of tint can I use and where can I order both the tint and keratin oil. Thank you great video
I am from NZ so my supplier is local here, I like bronsun dye and binacil tints and any keratin oil for lashes on Amazon is probably ok
Thank you for all your knowledge
Hi , I was curious on how long do do I leave both the lifting cream and the setting cream for?
I can’t really answer that as the timing is specific to each manufacturers kit and you should follow the instructions they give, I’ve used ones where the 1st solution is short and the 2nd longer timing and the one I use now is opposite. Not all are made alike. Sorry but best I don’t generalise the answer
That’s so helpful!! I’m doing my lashes at home with a diy lash lift kit and I was wondering if I should throw it away because I got it more than a year ago(haven’t opened all the bottles though). Is it safe to use it again(maybe throw away the opened bottles and use the sealed ones)?
Heya, I don’t know what the expiry dates on the brand you have, sealed COULD be ok but I really can’t know
Ah ok so the different size pads are not for how lifted the lashes would be rather Its the size of the eye lid?
Great video! thanks so much :)
Glad it was helpful!
awesome tips! what keratin serum did you use?
Thank you, I just use the keratin that comes with the kit
I have really strong eyelashes, do I prolong the perming solution or the fixation solution?
I can only tell you to follow the kits instructions as diff kit have diff solutions
Hey, please tell me, you used the lifting cream, the neutralize cream, eyelashes paint and that's all?? I would be happy if you could answer me.
I ask you for the fact that I have a third solution called moisturizing cream, and I don't know if is OK to use it or not.
I happened to do this procedure and the lashes stay straight so I ask if you use the moisturizer?possible this could be my problem I Wana find it😅.
Thank you!
I use keratin oil at the end as the process can dry the lashes a little, never used moisturising cream before but if it was in a kit it should not effect a lash lift. If the lashes didn’t lift it would be more about the timing of solution 1 and 2 and getting that right
@@galaxydreaming OK, Thanks for answering me! ❤️😘Appreciate it! 🙏
I'm having torubles with step 2 of using the eye lash glue to stick on the pads. My eyelashes are very downward facing and long, any suggestions?
Which glue? Sometimes I’ve had that trouble with other brands. When this happens I use glad wrap to get them back or even use another shield on top and tape it down, just be careful with timing as doing this will make them warmer and process quicker
What shape shield is best to use if I still want to be able to easily do makeup and liner
Hello Marta, good question. I recommend M1 as a good lift without the lashes lifting too high to be in the way
Thanks for the video...what brand oil do you use?
I use the one provided in the Stacy lash kit or a Russian one called protein Botox from designerlashes
The pads L is the chubby one with the widest curve?
My lashes are long, flat and very strong. i did the lash lift in a beauty center but i didn't get any curvature. now i'm trying to make them at home but i don't know which pads to use. in my kit there is the size L which is very chubby, the M2, the M1 and the S which is the one with the least curve and flatter. which one do you recommend to use?
What I do is I put the shield on without sticking it yet and push the lashes back so that they are 1/2 way up the shield, that helps me choose, I tend to like m1 and m2, m2 does well on average length lashes for a gentle curl, m1 is more lifted. I only use m and s when I have thick stubborn lashes
Hello! Is it safe to put the products that close/on the lash line and skin? Absolutely beautiful results! My lash lift have been quite disappointing!
Yes it’s fine and in fact that is why I believe I get such a good lift, I use a fine brush to get the solution between the lashes
What brand of product did you use for the lift supplies and the karatin! Thank you
This kit is from Stacy lash. They have a keratin/nourishing oil in their kit
Great tips- I have strong straight lashes and my lash lift didn’t take as well! How long do I leave my lashes for before doing the next lash lift?
Ah yeah it’s annoying when that happens, normally 6-8 weeks later, I have re lifted and drastically reduced the times when a lift has an area that hasn’t lifted as well but I stick to the base nowhere near the tips or they will fry. It’s risky tbh and only emergency or if I need to relax lashes if lift too much
Mine are thick and straight and I redid mine 48 hours after and they were fine! I do use Saran Wrap over mine so the lift serum doesn’t dry out; I find it curls way better if it stays a wet serum!
This video was great, what brand lash lift do you use?
I buy mine from www.designerlashes.co.nz
Lovely lash lift! What product you use? Thank you!
Hi, I use the kits that www.designerlashes.co.nz sell
Thank you! My lashes go out and up except for on the outer corners. What do you suggest in this case?
A lift will break down the bonds of the hair and reset it so depending on your eye shape and length of lashes it's hard to say which shield
How you ladies gonna do eyeliner if your lashes are curled?
Very informative video. Can you please let me know the eyelash lift kit company? Thank you so much.
Stacy lash on Amazon have a very good lash lifting kit
This vídeo is amszing. Congratulation!
Thank you, I loved doing this lift
Thank you for the great tips! I was wondering does your tint stain your shields and if not what brand are they?
Hi, yes the timing does stain the shields
where can I buy the keratin oil? I didn't see it on your website. thanks!
It is called Reconstructing Treatment on the www.designerlashes.co.nz website
hi, I do lash lift volume and my glue doesnt stick very wel on the skin and the lashes. How can i fix it? i work with the products of reflectocil
What is lash lift volume? If the glue isn’t sticking usually it needs a little time to become tackier but I’d it’s still not working then you need new glue
Help please?! My eye shields will not stay on. It's brand new glue, never used before. The brand is LuckyFine. The outer and inner corners keep popping off. I've cleansed my lids. And suggestions?
did you let the glue get tacky?
@@marinaarman8409 yeah I did. I tried it a few times after that it it wouldn't work.
You probably need a different glue
i’m late ik but you should definitely just cut the unnecessary ends off
If you use the cleanser the kit comes with will it mess up the lash tint part?
I’d imagine not but I can’t really give an answer when I haven’t worked with your kit
What is the longer processing time? I did my down turned lashes with a small shild and they didnt turn up enough. How soon can i redo them! Thank you
It depends on your lash kit instructions, each is different. You shouldn’t relift for a minimum 5 weeks or you will over process your lashes and they look frizzy
What keratin oil would you recommend ?
I don’t have one that id recommend adding I’be always had kits that have the oil included. The lift/lamination kit I recommend is from www.designerlashes.co.nz
Here’s one, after I’ve glued my lashes to the shield, they come unglued as soon as I put down the perming solution. What do I do to keep my lashes glued to the shield?
I’ve had this happen, usually when I don’t use enough glue or my glue was too old or the brand of glue is not good. Usually I bin it if this happens because it’s frustrating as. What I do then it happens is I either use paper tape or glad wrap to force the lashes to stay back.
@@galaxydreaming omg thank you for replying!! So seems like I gotta buy better lash glue or use more glue or buy something else to stick those babies on 😫. I did use saran wrap to hold them in place but that was a challenge in itself. Ugh, it’s always something. Just when you think it should be easy life says “hahaha nope!”.
I had mine done and my lashes never stood up like that. They were just strait slightly pointing upwards at the end. I do have long lashes but I thought that would make them even more likely to be up. I think I just went to the wrong girl.
Yes I’d say so or she used the wrong sized shield to lift with.
Hi! I permed my lashes few times and looks great, very lifted, for 2 or 3 weeks but when the growth of the lashes starts showing they became L shaped, with weird angles. What am I doing wrong? Thank you for the help! ❤️
Yes this can be the case with grow out for some lashes, I usually notice it nearing the end of the 5-6 weeks. One thing is to make sure the solutions are near the base and the bend, not the end of the lash, I’ve seen fried lashes bent backwards from over processing
What product you use in Lash Lift?
Thank you!
@@luv924 I use the Iconsign kit, I got it from ebay
@@galaxydreaming how often can I perm the lashes? Once every 2 months?
@@luv924 I use stacy lash lift kit or designerlashes lift kit
You have the most beautiful eyes mashallah ❤
its the cleanser can change to make up remover?
Only if there is no oil in it, oily products should be avoided before a lash lift, even up to 24 hours before
can you use other oils like castor oil to remove everything? rather than keratin oil?
I’m unsure as I’ve only ever used the keratin provided or purchased keratin oil. I don’t use water because the instructions say not to and to avoid it for 24 hours but some techs do use water. Personally I like the client leaving with nice plump lashes
Hi! I was wonder how long you leave your tint on for?
Usually only a few minutes as the hair takes it in quite quickly due to the lifting process
What do you use to remove the glue if you are out of the cleanser I did a lash lift today and I struggled like never before to remove the glue.
I don’t use a cleanser anymore as I found the keratin oil removes it off the lashes well and off the eyelid
@@galaxydreaming thanks for the response
Hi, do you not use the brustle brushes for the first solution? Thanks
Yes I do for both solutions
@@galaxydreaming isn’t it dangerous? I mean is it okay for the solutions to touch the roots of the lashes?
@@talyya7752 I have never had any problems, I find the shields pull the lid back away from the eyes and the solutions are thick, not like water, so they never get into anyones eyes. Best do what you feel comfortable with :)
Should I wait for the lashes to be completely dry, after cleansing to start the process? Does it matter?
Yes try to dry them a much as you can, it will help hold them back onto the shield better
which perming solution do you use ? and where can i get it ❤️❤️
I buy my lash lift kit with everything in it from www.designerlashes.co.nz
@@galaxydreaming but which one cuz there is so many and they are out of stock on many kits. Do u but your eye lash tint from them also? Where are u located? I would just rather go to u to get my lashes done. I am in northern California.
Hi there!can you tell me wich (nome, brand)queratin do you use?
I use the keratin that comes with the through designer lashes but she sells keratin separately also www.designerlashes.co.nz
Hi do you have any tips for my easily over processed eyelashes, they tend to completely curl over under my eyelid and process very easily, they aren't pin straight naturally they have a slight curl . Any tips for my at home lash lift as proffetionals always fry and damage my lashes
Hi harmony, I’m not sure I Understand when you say they tend to curl over under your eyelid, do you mean when someone lifts them this is what happens or do you mean your natural lashes are like this?
@@galaxydreaming whenever I get a lash lift procedure done my eyelashes absolutely fry and curl over super tight under my eyelid ( I have slightly hooded eyes)
Oh ok, a couple of things that could cause that is 1. The shield selected for you is too small (e.g. the mound on the shield needs to be bigger so that the lift doesn't go so straight back). Sizes are S, M, M1, M2 & L (Small being the flattest mound so the most pushed back lift, L being the largest mound so a very gentle curl) You could try M2 or L depending on the length of your lashes. 2. The solutions do not and should not ever sit on the ends of the lashes, we try not to curl that area, the tech could be putting the solution over all the length of the lashes but I don't really know if that is the case. In regards to them being "fried" that is over processing - the solution is being left on too long for your thickness of lashes, there isn't a standard, for everyone, length of time solutions should be on for, they are meant to be adjusted according the technicians judgement. I guess all the information means how you receive a lift treatment is out of your control but if you can find a tech that agrees with these steps in a procedure you should receive a better lift for you.
What adhesive do you use for your lifts?
It’s the one that comes in designerlashes website lift kit. www.designerlashes.co.nz
how long does the session last? thanks you
45 minutes usually
Do you glue the silicon pad down or just place it?
Glue it down
