I honestly find it to be a tacky cash grab. Cartoons on coins makes me think of generic rounds or foreign currency. When I think of US coinage, I think of classical designs... not chibi fictional characters. Just comes off as cheap imo. This will absolutely be a pass for me.
That is why they raised the prices...to pay the royalties to DC Comics. They can keep them and all the rest of the overpriced crap. You take a chance on everything you buy from them.

They're trying to hard. I have received dents, fingerprints, cleaning and polishes inside capsules. The US Mint is "Like a box of chocolates!" Who can throw $3k into a hole 🕳 😅

Stacker , yesterday I canceled all my subscriptions with the US mint . I have had enough with being taken to the cleaners with buying the US products that we are being grossly overcharged for . I am mad as you know what right now . I can't say anymore, and I will not . I just wanted to tell you what I am doing about this injustice.

Morning buddy! I did a survey on these here 3 or so weeks ago. Definitely not a buyer on these overpriced silver rounds. They need to get their act together on their other products before starting something new. Definitely won't be buying these.
I wonder how interested comic book collectors will be in combining their comic books with silver rounds.

Surprise! The Liberty and Britannia silver medal is available again for $105…. I told myself I would buy another one if it comes back but after seeing the new price I am doing a hard pass.
The only metal or coin I would get if they bring it bk is 2019-S enhanced eagle 🦅 or flowing hair silver metal for 104.. other then that I ain't getting shit from them I ain't supporting Brandon..
I remember something about a silver shortage and market volatility but I'm glad we won't be hearing about that anymore because we have enough silver to mint these comic images and not be short for silver coinage. Wasn't being short in silver one reason why they raised silver prices only to start minting these things? 🧐

A easy pass for me. Kinda weird but the current administration has turned every big city into Gotham seeks like. Plus they would call these heros racist in real life . Just a way over priced silver round imo. The flowing hair silver medal is currently priced at $104 only US Mint round I'm waiting for. Much ❤ for the channel.
If these are going to be 95-100 $ silver medals I wont be getting any . Im done with fomo-took 3 years and the mint over priceing everything to cure me. If the clads are around 25$ Ill get them, not a big fan on the whole thing. Ill buy the classic 1800s remakes all day. I can get clad coins like these from the UK for 22$ with shipping .

Maybe if they used images from each age of comics, golden, silver, etc, it would be interesting. But, I expect that with licensing fees these will be very expensive.

I read the US Mint release about the collaboration announcement. It's great news that the US Mint is thinking outside of the box. I suspect that prices for the gold and silver coins/medals will be comparable to the Flowing Hair dollar -- maybe higher. Also, I wonder if the coins/medals are US Mint special releases, Congress-approved commemorative coins/medals (unlikely), or will be placed on the reverses of circulating coins (unlikely).

Both my brothers are fans of their faves = SUPERMAN & BATMAN . I gifted the "Joker series of Batman & 2016 " S" Shield with the Queens effigy. Would be nice but I will fly the middle finger . Unless John Wick is featured - not a DC character 😄😆😂 so, I am not jumping . Just yesterday I read some fed up responses and I identified with a few. Test Me.

Taking Care of Business should be the new emergency of the U S Mint before venturing outside the box. Big push for more profits. Stamp more ASE to meet demand and set an awareness campaign !!!
