Mangers is a cider I discovered on a trip to the UK some years ago. I like it better than Strongbow. Thanks for the reminder that I should try to find some, Mark. It is occasionally available around here.
You might like to try Thatcher's ciders: they make several distinct styles, so you may well find one that's to your taste. Aside: in the UK, the term "hard cider" is never used, because all cider is alcoholic.
@@David_K_Booth I will look for Thatcher's! Thanks for the tip. (And of course, 'cider' here in the US is used for any fruit juice, fresh pressed - usually apple, but can be other fruits. It has to be "hard cider" to be recognized as alcoholic, but often this is the result of natural fermentation, not a brand-specific process. Not pasteurized, either, or preserved in any way other than the natural presence of fermentation. This results in varying taste and quality, of course - sometimes beyond delicious!
MARVEL CHARACTERS ALPHABETICALLY DAY 8: BLINK-NIECE-CONIC-CUMIN I was NOT expecting cumin to be right, but the only other option turned out to be CHAIN. Why didn't I think of CHAIN??
Mark knows his Shakespeare. It's in one of the historical plays - "I'll cavil on the ninth part of a hair" - meaning "I'll argue until I get every least thing that's due to me."

A rare 2 today, MINCE which gave four yellows, then straight to CUMIN. Great video as always Mark!
awesome

You are doing God's work here, i look for your comment every day! Thank you!!🙏
This one killed my streak by the stupidest reason: I forgot to play....
That's only happened to me once since I started playing in January 2022. I was on vacation and my streak was low anyway, so it wasn't a big loss.
I empathise. That's how I lost my last two streaks. 😅 (Streak would've been close to a year by now, otherwise.)
Does the trick of putting the clock back on your computer still work?
@@iainholder8785Wouldn't / don't you feel bad about cheating?🫣
that was four days ago for me

Who else was thinking of Henry Cavil(l) playing Superman? ...Just me? 🤭
Well done, Mark, keeping the streak alive! 👏👏👏
CHAOS -> CRIME -> CLIMB -> CUMIN
Yes, I repeated both the I and M in the same spots. No, I have no excuses. I'm mad at myself for it.

A 4 for me.
WIELD - HOIST - CABIN - CUMIN
Done in 4 with AISLE>UNIFY>TUNIC>CUMIN
Can you do a theme of first names because my name is Louis and I always start with my name. Annoyingly Louie also works and is arguably better
I didn't know Cumin was a word.
I'm pretty sure I've never heard the word cavil in my life. In fact, Google just tried to change it to civil!

@@David_K_BoothThat Shakespeare certainly had a way with words. (Thank you.)
Despite the blessing of a green C, still took me awhile -- Comes Campy Cumin.

Wonder which it'll be?
I'm guessin' CUMIN..

Go for it, Mark. 😂
Ah, D was guessed.
CUMIN it was then.
Good job, Mark.
What's a cumin anyway? I missed yesterday and lost my streak but i don't think i would've gotten it.
you can just google it, and im not native english speaker, but you put it in food
It's a spice - like that classic trio: salt and pepper and cumin.
a spice, often used in curry but it's pretty common elsewhere too
I use that spice when I make chili so was well acquainted with the word.
Thanks, good to know
