They don't understand that they're on camera. The only thought they're having is, "Can I eat this?"

I don't think they understand the concept of cameras, I think they're just wondering what they are.

I'm not complaining but I'm just curious.... I clicked on a Topix Offbeat video today because the title was "25 Gross Grooming Tips That Are No Longer Used Today". Seemed simple enough. But it had a picture of Josephine Baker tagged with the video. I was expecting the article to say she caught some kind of disease by wearing certain kinds of makeup or she got a rash by wearing bananas in her infamous "Banana Dance" act or something along those lines. But it had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with her. It was a video filled with disgusting, stupid shit that Europeans did in the 16th century. For example: People used rat brains to brush their teeth... Some people used urine as mouthwash... Rich people ate chalk and put it on their skin to look whiter or paler... Men rubbed bird feces on their balding heads thinking it would make their hair grow back... Women ate crocodile feces to keep from getting pregnant... The list went on and on but said NOTHING about Josephine Baker's grooming tips that were gross or no longer used today. So it made me think: Why would someone use her picture for this bullshit instead of putting a picture of a 16th century European person who actually practiced these rituals. The only thing I can think of is whoever the editor for Offbeat Topix is, must have thought his little racist subliminal message would go undetected. By using her picture in the description of the video, he was saying that Josephine Baker or black people are immediately associated with gross behaviors when it comes to personal hygiene or grooming rituals. A lot of people probably didn't notice it but I did. *I SEE YOU BUDDY*
