      Decades. I have one of those upstairs that I bought forty years ago. The fuel isn't kerosene, but (unleaded) gasoline.

      @@adamoneale4396 I refuse to believe that any manufacturer would try to use a material as flimsy as alumized mylar to form a shelter. It takes very little for the elements to tear it, making it dodgy protection at best.

    I have the Coleman stove and love it! I put together starting with a small soft side tackle box, then added small containers of coffee, creamer and sugar. Of course I have small SS cups too. It’s nice that it also runs on regular gas!

    For The liquid fuel stove you can use unleaded gasoline as fuel instead of camp fuel

    the colman 533 sportster 2 has dual fuel function, you could use your car gasoline in it. awesome stove. I have two, one for back up. it cooks very well.

    First off that Coleman stove technology is older than you.
    Second you have to take your thumb off the hole as your drawing in more air.
    Third it is very much a hiking stove. 🙃

      LOL! I laughed so hard when he said it was "new technology"! I used to call the 2 burner models suitcase stoves. Lantern, space heaters. And, yes! You have to know how to pump them properly.

    That silver blanket is more like a sleeping bag. You wrap it close to your body and it reflects body heat back at you and keeps you warm. also good for signal device and shelter like the one you made. There are other uses, also.

    That Coleman Stove is a great Stove for Car Camping or a Base Camp. I have one and have used it multiple times without problems.
    That Sterno Stove. I wonder if you can replace the Sterno Canister with a Trangia Alcohol Stove?

    These are all we had prior to the advent of the propane cylinder. All camp stoves were kerosene or "white gas" and you pumped them. New 80-85 years or so ago.

    That copper rod in the coleman is the generator, you have to heat it up so you get proper air and fuel mixture.

    Tarus the russian military were using kerosene stoves in the 70s, I have one. Also before that Primus stoves did the same with paraffine

    Im sorry Taras,but you barely tested anything anymore , you could have tested the first kit with the coleman stove and see how good it works . Its one thing to turn them on and see if it works but it would be nice to see how good it works. And like so many people have said take your gadget and go camping , its the best way to test them.

      Osmium Actually that is a tent made by UCO. They also make a blanket, it’s smaller....that was their tent.
