We're now in our late 70's, and have lived our lives in Sydney. Our advice to tourists, especially those with limited time, is to take the ferry to Manly, rather than go to Bondi. You get the ferry ride itself, views as you travel across the Harbour, and then the beach. We prefer the coffee shops and cafes there to those at Bondi
Dope video bro..Great editing and also how to get around the city. Sydney looks dope.👍🏾
You can walk up to the bridge pass the little village called The Rocks, and go up the steps to the bridge road. Walk along to the first Bridge Pillar, it's a Museum, $10, walk all the way up top. Great View. Lived in Sydney most of my life and didn't know it was there
What a fantastic tour vlog! Manly is a great place to visit.
Thank you 🙏🏾. Yes Manly is an awesome quick beach trip while in Sydney. Check back soon for videos on some of the other beaches in the area .
Great commentary, guys. Nice to see overseas visitors appreciate our beautiful city. We've kept it a closely-guarded secret all these years but it looks like the secret is out! You're welcome any time. "Y'all come back again, y' hear?"😉
Enjoy all the nice beaches mate 👍
Nice vid brother you making me miss Sydney great footage this is top quality vlog Manly beach is always a good spot to visit when ur in Sydney keep up the good work Tay😊👍🏽💯
Much appreciated brother ! I tried my best to try to capture the Beauty of Sydney it’s a place the really deserves some extra attention when working on the video but more Sydney videos are coming soon .
Always go up front!
Good Vid, well made. One of the things I found that was good about it is that unlike a lot of other bloggers you didn not make it about yourself. Thanks.
Nice video, mate. I hope you enjoyed your visit. We don’t get enough American visitors. Love you guys.
I definitely enjoyed my visit and I will probably be back soon . I’m guessing more American will be visiting over the next few years since a record number of US citizens now have passports.
it's the speed of the ferry that makes the wind! I agree the Bridge climb is crazy expensive.
Tay, love this video. It reminds me of the Circle Line cruise in NYC. Australia is now on my bucket list. Thanks for sharing.
I’m glad you enjoyed it . I might have to do that NYC cruise next time I’m there.
It’s subtropical so pretty nice year round v
46% of Australia is tropical
Probably wouldn’t visit in wet
Come in dry
Nice work mate .🇦🇺👊
Thank you 🙏🏾
Sydney has OPAL card, Brisbane has GO card, Melbourne has MYKI card, Perth has SMARTRIDER card,
Hobart has GREEN CARD card, Adelaide has METROCARD card. All the same thing essentially.
Contactless payment in Sydney. You really only need an Opal Card for concession/pensioner.
Pittwater inlet Sydney's hidden gem
Totally agree, but for those dependent upon public transport on a strange city not easy to find.
Nice vid, love the drone footage!
Great video! Hope you enjoyed your stay in our beautiful city of Sydney!
Yes I did thank you , and I’ll probably be back soon.
12000 beaches in Australia
8000 islands 💓
A lot of natural beauty “down under“
The ferry arrives at Manly Cove.
You need to walk away from the cove along The Corso to Manly Beach.
Too cool to run LOL....nice video! Beautiful weather.
I was still "breaking in " my shoes 😅
@@tayinternationalAfter a day of about 6000 steps you should be good. This is the type of weather and scenery where you can get alot of exercise without feeling it.
Aww man this is one of the best video you made., crisp editing, music etc. You been sitting on some good content. Man It’s for my next trip✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾
Brisbane is the same train, boat, bus
It’s safest to swim between the flags and the volunteer life savers are patrolling that area. A lot of people that visit Australia’s really popular and iconic beaches don’t know much about the surf and how to spot a riptide or deal with breakers.
If you visit Manly beach the trip back on the ferry will give you one of the best views of the city, opera house and bridge.
While at the beach consider walking to Shelly Beach. As you face the ocean the walk is to the right along the cliffs. There’s a little beach and some restaurants.
Thank you , I didn’t hear about Shelly Beach . I will check it out next time . Also that is very true about riptides and breakers , water safety should be talked about more .
@@tayinternational No surfboards allowed between flags for swimmer safety too.
And if you head to the north you’d come to Freshwater Beach, a little known beach.
FYI re your comment in the video, Brisbane also has tap on/off buses, trains, trams and ferries.
Cheaper Bridge option is just to climb the pylon on the southern side. If you climb over, you’re not permitted to video, or take photos, as you can’t carry anything that can be dropped.
Good to know , thank you 🙏🏾
I hate to break it to you but Sydney is not hidden, just a gem
😅 I hear you but for many people from my part of the world it is.
@@tayinternationalwhere are you from, Hicksville?
Yep Manly beats Bondi beach every day
Here is a tip. Instead of spending a lot of money on a full bridge climb. You go to the top of the bridge pylon (the big pillars either end of the bridge) for just $25 & you get a great view from up there
That’s what I’m talking about ! Thank you 🙏🏾
I did the bridge climb many years ago. I never thought it was worth the money but when I got to the top I can say for me it was absolutely worth the money. It’s a LOT higher than you might expect and a truly unique experience.
I will never understand why some people compare melbourne to sydney. Its not even close its day and night difference not comparable in any way. Sydney is one of the best cities in the world that includes the whole nsw.
It's all over the system to tap on and off
Great vlog mate, new subscriber!
You need to get out of Sydney a hr south to Wollongong & even more south is better then that hell hole Sydney haha.
Look forward to watching more of ya vids mate👌
Each state has its own version of the OPAL card. Or you can simply use your credit card to tap on and off.
Now I gotta go to Australia 😂
I probably need a few trips to see more of the continent
If you do come to Australia then make some time to visit the south coast Jervis Bay region and North coast Lake Macquarie Newcastle where you will see the most beautiful white sandy beaches. It’s a paradise! ❤
@@leahlapham5634 The problem is the country has too many places to see on one trip 🙂 I’ll definitely be back.
I prefer manly too
You could have takn a bus!
As to the language thing, well, Australia might be the most multicultural place on earth, i know that Melbourne beats New York or London by a wide margin.
You might be right , I didn’t really expect that before visiting Sydney. There is definitely a lot of diversity in Australia today . And I was there during “Australia Day “ and diversity was something they talked about a lot . Hopefully I can get that video out soon .
Fam, how many gorgoeus women were on that train?
It is pronounced kee here
There is a South Americans here in Sydney
It's a Catamaran not a hydrofoil.
Couple of things that need correcting in your video.
*Manly - Manly is not a Town, it’s a suburb, just one of the 650+ Sydney suburbs in the Metro area, nothing special, just a beachside suburb
*Circular Quay - you pronounce Quay wrong, Quay is pronounced Key - Quay = Key
*You weren’t on a Hydrofoil, we haven’t had Hydrofoils on Sydney Harbour for decades, it was just a fast catamaran
*When you were returning from Manly, you weren’t going back to Sydney, you were going back to the City or CBD (Central Business District), Sydney is not just the City centre, it’s the CBD and all 450+ suburbs that make up the place where approx 5.5 million people live.
*The park on the eastern side of the Opera House is not just a ‘park’, it’s the ‘Royal Botanical Gardens Sydney’
*Sydney Harbour Bridge - Yes the bridge climb is expensive, tourist prices, but you can walk across the footpath next to the vehicle deck for free, and you can go up one of the bridge pylon lookouts for around $20-$30
There’s a couple of other things that aren’t accurate either.
Anyway......
Wow, so nitpicking. If we are going to be fussy about things, city and hydrofoil should not be capitalised LOL. Also the Botanical Gardens is a park, so no problem calling it what it is. Wonder how you would go about reviewing New York?
actually surprised at the lack of fat people
It’s like back in the 1990s . They do have a strong beach culture there , which helps .
Oh they are around at home on the couch
@@jfffff14 🤣
We get out and about, socialising be it at a mall or out on the street, people everywhere. The US people all sit at home stuffing there faces with takeaway and live life via a keyboard. Look at the malls and shopping districts, deserted. Says it all. Fat is king in the US.
@@harrygoldun5779 can’t argue with that for the majority .
Sydney is tired dirty empty and needs some new attractions
@dezrhino9062 Perhaps you should visit downtown SanFrancisco, then. Or may be better Oakland will be your cup of tea!
@@paulsz6194 Sydney is my home it's overrated not much has changed it needs refreshing
I think manly has one major thing over Bondi, the trees. Late afternoon the beach has lots of shade. But please, tell your mate to stop walking with a stupid gangster swagger. It’s Sydney not New York.
