Today we put two WW2 Bunker Buster Tanks against each other: Germany’s Sturmtiger vs Britain’s Churchill AVRE. How will one do against the other? You might be surprised but let's find out.

Yer the range advantage is pretty overwhelming. Honestly a more fair fight would be the AVRE vs Sturmpanzer. Sturmpanzer has the range but the AVRE has armour and an mg.

I think in the future, you should do more pvp without respawn opposed to capturing points like you did before. I think it is much clearer to see which side is winning that way.

The Sturmtiger has higher gun elevation than the Churchill AVRE petard, therefore the AVRE petards mortar is useless at 150+ meters and that makes it vulnerable to the Sturmtigers 380mm rocket launcher.
the Petard's shell is also only going less than 50 metres per second, making it the slowest weapon in-game. that is the main reason why it can't shoot very far

The first Churchill that killed a sturmtiger did it with mg I'm pretty sure lol. It had the killfeed icon for mg fire. Tbh it's probably a better idea to try to mg the round in the sturmtiger barrel given how abysmally low range the petard thingy is lmao.

NOPE its 150 meters. as per Gaijins official devblog on the AVRE. the guns elevation may only go up to 120m, but the rounds effective maximum range is 150m
@@Person4772 nope, 120 tested, range finder goes up to 130+ something but shooting beyond 120 on flat wont go, unless you elevate your tank than sure maybe 150
