Apart from the insane customization, the actual gameplay looks smooth and fluid. The concept of a battle royale but it's melee-based instead of a first person shooter or a third person shooter is way more interesting than a regular overdone battle royale
The only problem I have so far is that the combat is really clunky for new players(obviously lol) but once it clicks the combat becomes easily one of the most fun in any battle royale
Guns are boring, it just comes down to who pressed the button first. Fights should have strategy.

Its a lot more fun imo because while there are ranged weapons, the gameplay isn't just constantly getting sniped from across an area which was my experience trying to get into other battle royale games.
There's some real tension to the fights and you can turn a situation around by dodging, countering, or grappling away at the right time.
@@viderevero1338 That's why this is so much better, even if someone catches you off guard, you use better strategy you'll still win. Even if your reaction time is slower, you can anticipate their next move to make up for it. Gameplay using brain > muscle memory and 10 year old spaz reaction times.

Who you been using? I started a few days ago and I use the drunk dude who has the defensive stance ability and he feeds people straight hands. I did 17k damage 10 games in a row

I love the concept of a melee based battle royale, instead of guns. It’s a pretty underrated game and has a unique flow of gameplay to it. It eliminates the concept of camping and forces you to fight.

Really appreciate how much attention this game is getting, it's a genuinely fun and fresh spin on BR, I know it's been out on PC a while but for Xbox this is something entirely new for us and it's so much fun.

Gotta love a game that allows you to go bat-shit insane with the character customization.
The game normally is this: you queue into a game and at first you play against bots disguised as real players. As you level up and spend more time in the game the bots slowly get replaced by players. At this point I'm about 60 hours into the game and my games are now only half bots! The unfortunate thing is the other half are players from others regions smufing on NA servers. That being said, the skill gap is either you destroy a bot like nothing or get your ass handed to you by an over skilled smurf player. Unfortunetly until they go free to play the player base is just not going to be there so the fun and moderate challenge isnt there. That is unless you have a large twitter following and host a custom server ^.^

I love the character creation of this game. I’ve spent hours making the most goofiest character I possibly can. The part that sucks is I don’t see enough goofy characters in the lobby so I just feel unique but I wish there were more people that made goofy heroes rather than make “sweaty” looking ones.
