Sir, I have 1 question.. We can transfer stock from plant to plant by RAISING PO and can also transfer stock directly from MIGO..so why to follow the whole STO process rather than simply doing it using movement type in MIGO?
In big organizations, one plant (geographically far from another) will raise requirement for another via raising a STO and this will trigger the follow on activities like requirement generation, MRP, logistics movements etc.. whereas stock transfer using MIGO will be useful where both plants are within same building or not far.
THANKS
