For all those saying this is the wrong key, this is the correct arrangement but in the Seger recorded version the piano was tuned down a half step
For the people who say it’s in the wrong key, it’s transposed to a different key. You can do that for arrangements.
Yep, I’m a fan of lots of female singers and often have to rearrange a song in a different key so I can sing it. That being said, it might be worth mentioning that the key is changed.

why isnt it in the right key..? i mean, the original is piano so you could easily sound out the tune...
F# was the original key which is quite hard to play if you're a beginner on the piano as it entails 6 black keys 😊

The original is F# , but this is G
Use the transpose on the piano
The sound is out of sync like 200ms, really annoying
Make everything a half step down. This got a pitch up error issue and is now in f major instead of e major
