As for your questions there is nothing wronge to be curious and ask questions. And the attributes of Allah(ﷻ) answer, one of his attributes is (the first) there is absolutely nothing before him. And nothing here means no air, water, etc. Only Him(ﷻ) alone and only. And Allah(ﷻ) knows best. May Allah(ﷻ) grant us understanding and benefit us with his wisdom. Ameen.

the simple answer is what is before 1 answer is 0 was nothing 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10. So before 1 was 0 was nothing . Allah is The only creation of all.
The God has no time,he created it,so the time doesn't control on him,so this period before creation is completely unknown,so it may be a year or zilions
of years,and the God before that made sure his own property was saved as he told us in Quran
