Islam allows adequate opportunity to make the right judgement in the social context ,definitely within the parameters of morality . Charity n Good deeds are mandatory, integrated to worship .If this is followed , none can be repulsive . Take the instance of mandatory. ' Zakat' a Muslim is to pay every year in prescribed rates to the poor,.1400 years ago this started as a well regulated system of Socio economic equilibrium .Look at the emphasis of Islam on equality of all men at a time when slavery with subjugation was predominant.

Let's all read the wise words of muhammed:
Once Allah's Apostle went out to the Muslims (to offer the prayer) of Eid al-Adha or Al-Fitr prayer. Then he passed by the women and said, "O women! Give alms, as I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hell-fire were you (women)." They asked, "Why is it so, O Allah's Apostle ?" He replied, "You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you. A cautious sensible man could be led astray by some of you." The women asked, "O Allah's Apostle! What is deficient in our intelligence and religion?" He said, "Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?" They replied in the affirmative. He said, "This is the deficiency in her intelligence. Isn't it true that a woman can neither pray nor fast during her menses?" The women replied in the affirmative. He said, "This is the deficiency in her religion." --Sahih al-Bukhari 304

You have completely missed the point that this expert is getting across. He is not complaining about Islam. He is explaining that whoever wrote your Holy books stitched you all up.
If you weren't aware, there is a movement within Islam to try and reform it. Many Muslims do not know the full content of the books and are shocked when they do learn. Many then decide to leave the religion, but some want to stay and reform Islam and make it 'nicer'. This expert is telling THEM it is not possible. He is NOT saying Islam is perfect.

@abdurrahmankhan1145 Muslims should know their religion better than non Muslims. But they often don't. There are countless videos on this platform showcasing many Muslims' lack of understanding of their own Holy Books, mainly because they don't speak Arabic well, if at all, or their Imams are parsimonious when sharing the truth.
The fact that you are oblivious to any movement to reform Islam shows you are living in a bubble. All you need to do is type in reform and Islam into a search engine, and you can discover an entire movement that started centuries ago and continues to this day. Wake up!

The third caliph, Uthman ibn Affan, did not burn the Quran itself, but rather, he ordered the destruction of some manuscripts of the Quran that varied from the standardized version he was compiling.
During Uthman's reign (644-656 CE), the Islamic empire expanded rapidly, and different regions developed their own recitations and versions of the Quran. This led to concerns about variations and potential errors in the text.
To address this issue, Uthman formed a committee to compile a standardized version of the Quran, based on the original manuscripts and recitations. He then ordered the destruction of any manuscripts that differed from the standardized version.
The reasons for this decision were:
      1. To preserve the integrity of the Quranic text
      2. To prevent variations and potential errors from spreading
      3. To ensure a unified recitation and understanding of the Quran among all Muslims
Uthman's action was not intended to burn the Quran itself, but rather to establish a single, authoritative version, which is the same Quran that exists today.

@@ak18101 I accept you understand it to be the author's opinion. If you agree with the author, then it becomes your opinion, too. If you don't agree, then of course you keep quiet and you don't own it.
As the Quran stands today, there are numerous discrepancies, far too many to list here. For one example, I take you to Quran 36.40, 21.33, and 91.1-2. The author is unaware of the working of Space: "Sun and moon are in orbit, following each other and can never pass eachother". We all know that the moon revolves around the Earth, and the Earth revolves around the Sun. Furthermore, eclipses are when the sun and moon effectively pass each other.
As far as no one is permitted to change the book, it has been done. If you consider the well regarded English translations of the Quran. They have all been mistranslated because all translators carried out their work using the standard Islamic narrative (S.I.N - an unfortunate acronym) and tradition of words, which had been imposed in centuries after the Quran was first written down. Dr Yasir Qadhi's interview with Mr Hijab on 8th June 2020 identifies the holes in S.I.N.
To translate properly, you would have to go back to the Arabic of the 7th century, which I understand has no vowels nor diacritical markings. There is an Arabic speaking Arab who embarked on such a monumental task. I believe he has finished, and I am interested in learning
more. But his assessment apparently proves that the meaning of the Quran has been altered naturally over time, i.e., in English, the word 'gay' in the 1960s meant happy. But nowadays, it means 'homosexual'. Polysemy is a natural evolvement of language.
Have you looked at the Sanaa Quran?
From what I read, that Quran is written over a another Quran which differs significantly. The underlying Quran can only be seen with ultraviolet light.
All very interesting, but all refutes your statement.
