    Hi Russ. I've been watching your videos since your knee replacement vlogs. At the time, I had torn the ligaments in my left knee after a MTB accident. Your decision to try an ebike persuaded me to buy my first class 1 bike. I've been enjoying ebikes and your channel ever since. I'm now on my fourth ebike. Keep up the inspiring work. If the rain ever stops, I'm heading out for a ride. Cheers.

    Glad to see you are enjoying the 20” tire bikes. I really like mine. It is not super torquey but is enough. I can do U turns pretty well with mine. I do that technique where turn your head over you shoulder and look where you want to go. It seem to work for me. I am so glad you make riding videos and talk to us. You do such an excellent job. Your knowledge in photography and audio sure is a plus for us viewers. I am happy to see that there are so many good ebikes out there. Happy 4th of July. Oh, drone displays for the 4th are now becoming popular. More dog friendly.

    Really enjoyed the review and your conversation all during it. Only problem is I’m riding my stationary bicycle while watching and every time you come to a stop sign I reach for my brake levers🤣🤣!

    On another video I asked you about the cut-off voltage of an Ocelot Pro's battery. FYI, yesterday I rode 25.5 miles, PAS 4, gear 7, 180#, mostly level residential street, no throttle, pedaling all the way, started at 58.8 and ended at 48.8. Today rode 17.5 when it "died". Same stats as yesterday. Voltage was 43.8.

    Hey Russ good ride👍I can't imagine if you had said yes to all 69 offers you turned down, your house would be overwhelmed with ebikes. I don't think Mrs.Right would have approved. I'll have to revisit your one million viewed video again. You're the "Beyonce" of ebikes! Keep Riding Russ.

    Happy 4 th everyone. Got my ride in early. Power back on after 4.5 days. Small camping generator keep my bike charged.

    I have to say, that was very polite of you not to just zip by that woman on the bike coming up to the stop, you slowed, greeted. I love when I see other bikers with manners!
    On a different subject, have you ever tried using a small super bright flashlight instead of a regular front light?

    • @RussIsRight
      @RussIsRight  Před rokem

      Yes, on occasion, I have a flashing external light mounted on my handlebars. I also have a flashing rear taillight too. I use it during the day rides for more visibility.

    What a long 36 minutes, haha. Looks the Ebike ride so smooth. I'm considering ordering one for its good value.

    PS I agree, a rear rack is needed. I have a trunk bag back there and it carries a lot. I have to bring along a socket wrench because my saddle loosens up once in awhile! I end up with a swivel seat.

    8000 Km later I am so glad I bought a bike with a 21 amp hr. battery. I don’t have to carry an extra battery and 100km rides are no problem. Sorry about our fires heading south. I’ve found a n95 mask with my neck gator overtop works great for filtering out the smoke particles. Looks nice out, certainly not dry. 👍

    Nice ride Russ. Happy 4th. I do have a question. The e-bike you have that is like $5600 bucks. Do you see other than the custom woodwork/Paint more value in it than these bike we so love at between $1000 and $2500.

    • @RussIsRight
      @RussIsRight  Před rokem +2

      They have some tech that is nice that we don’t see on some lesser bikes. But in general, most folks would be fine with a basic version of it. It does ride nice though. Plus you get a lot of people who look at it. 😊

      Great question. I wished Magicycle would integrate additional batteries to their bike to extend the range like Russ's EBC. The rear rack with the battery and an additional battery on the front basket.

    Hi ,Russ I like the Chanel! Maybe you can help me. I am looking to change out my 20 x 4.0 fat tire.
    DO you know of good tire? My tire on my electric bike is CST tires. I got about 1200 miles out of the tire, I am looking to upgrade thank you for looking at my comment.

    • @RussIsRight
      @RussIsRight  Před rokem +1

      Most of the tires on my various bikes are Kenda tires. Not necessarily the best tire but popular probably due to cost. Some folks say they like the Vee brand or the Origin8 Supercells. I have not had experience with the Origin8 brand however. So overall, I can’t tell you much about the various brands out there!

    • @deanog114
      @deanog114 Před rokem +1

      Thanks for the help. I am going to look into the tires you mentioned. One of those brands might be a better tire. Thanks again, Dean.
