In this report on Yo-kai Watch Puni Puni (妖怪ウォッチぷにぷに), we walkthrough the Shadowside Shogi Event! We've got two new ZZ-ranks with Snake King's Knight Byakko and Great King's Rook Ashura, two new Z-rank with Great King's Yoshitsune and Snake King's Omatsu, and three SSS-ranks with Great King's Shadowside Jibanyan, Snake King's Shadowside Komasan, and Snake King's Hyper Micchi. In addition there's Great King's Bourei Banchou! Y-point spending and high stakes battles! All the stages, hidden stages, and more! I always find your videos helpful, thanks for all your advice and info, especially since hidden stage unlock requirements tend to be absurdly difficult for me to discover on my own
Btw, can you tell me if event specific YoKai are completely unobtainable after their event ends, or if maybe there's some special way to later obtain them anyways?

sometimes Z, SSS, and SS ranks return in the crank for future events. ZZs hardly ever return, though; the only one I remember returning is the ZZ Gakouga last event.

Hey robbett just wondering, does beating a yokai of a certain tribe increase the drop rate of certain color?? (For example beating tough yokai increases orange page drop)

What does the red button and the green button mean at the start?

The game is asking you if you want to enter either stealing or non stealing mode. In stealing mode other real life players can steal your treasure pieces, but you can also steal other peoples treasure pieces. You also get an additional 2x ypoints while in stealing mode. In non stealing mode no one can steal from you and you can’t steal from anyone. The green button is non stealing, the red button is stealing. You can always enter stealing mode later but you can’t go back into non stealing mode afterwards.
