In this report on Yo-kai Watch Puni Puni (妖怪ウォッチぷにぷに), we walkthrough the Shogi Battle of Kings event! We've got a new ZZZ-rank with Bishop Tuskuyomi, two new ZZ-ranks with Snake King's Army Shien and Snake King's Pawn Amaterasu, new Z-ranks with Great King's Army Tengu King Kurama, Cat King Bastet, and Kappa King Sagajo. Finally. A budokai. This is an event I actually like grinding, because seeing the number go to 100 and then reset is fun to me for some reason.

after a long time I finally got Kings Army Omatsu.
I just wish her defense bonus was better you kinda NEED a revive skill yo-kai in some later budokai stages like Rampage whisper, who is actually a good idea since his stun buys you some more time.

I'm fairly new and my team is kind of weak I don't have those king's army shogi yokai, where can I get some? also I reached 100 on the tournaments then felt it was starting to get harder, so now I win up to the finals then I reset the tournament so I can grind because if I keep wining I'll hit a wall soon, does this work or do the yokai keep getting stronger even if you don't actually win the tournament?

This game heavily disadvantages newer players. You probably won't be able to do very well in any event until you have played fairly actively on several events, especially several events in the same thematic series. If you have a ton of y-points and make it to a really high tournament level you can buy a great king's army yo-kai in the y-points shop (bottom left icon with golden trophy on it), specifically the Jibanyan wearing a black cap, but otherwise you're out of luck probably (unless you got super lucky with the y-point gatcha)
The difficulty is purely determined by the number of golden trophies you've won and some pretty heavy RNG

I love how its actually a budokai again, i dont really like thag you dont get 750 Y-points for clearing 100 battles, and i think that we should have some sort of garunteed system, because i never get anything good out of the crank, and the ratesare just terrible
