This may go down as THE go to, how to assemble a banshee motor video...thank you🙌
Huge compliment Keith; thank you for the love 🤘
NOTE: For cylinder head studs I recommend Pro Design over what I use in the video, they're stronger and more reliable - ebay.us/2KDNj1
NOTE: In the crank setup section (12:22), I talk about the center o-ring on the crankshaft. I could have done a better job explaining the function of that area. This is called the labyrinth seal and it fits between the two center crank main bearings and stops crank case pressure from passing between the two cylinders. The o-ring or using sealant does keep it from spinning but it also seals the two separate sides. If you use sealant, I recommend making sure the entire circumference of the seal is covered.

I'm an automotive mechanic. But I've been putting off rebuilding my '92 Banshee 370 until now. Your video was very helpful in giving me the confidence to knock it out. Thank you
The VooDoo Banshee has to be the most badass Banshee I’ve seen and I’ve been riding them since about 1995. The attention to detail in this build is nothing short of perfect! Just let me know when that beauty is for sale and I’ll hand over the cash with zero hesitation! Great job Mike!
Dude that shot of the table with all the engine parts laid out, gave me some tingles. Awesome work as always
there is nothing to me more calming than building an engine. it's like therapy.

Mike, EXCELLENT PRODUCTION. Best in Class. Lighting, editing, shot composition, verbal articulation and content. I would like to personally thank you for taking the time producing this. 1-1987 & 2-98 Banshee's & 3-RZ 350's in my stable. You could say I am addicted to this power plant. Invaluable information I will surely use in the future.
Stay Safe brotha.

The best Banhee assembly video I have saw! Thumbs up!
Sick engine man I love banshee I had a 89 with a stage 4 trinity motor bored out to 400 cc it was a animal could dump the clutch in 3rd gear from a dead stop and climb and monster hill with it . And it had tommey pipes on it and loved the sound. Sick viedoes keep up the awsome work man.
Watching this video has gave me the confidence that I could rebuild one my self 👍
Massive channel growth after the yz build! Well deserved 🤘
Wow! That thing turned out SICK!!!!
This Video ROCKS. THANK YOU. This helps me out big time. ..
Another great job Mike! I watched this video in full just like all your other ones and I don't even own a banshee! lol
Always like the detailed builds very helpful
Thank you brother!
The sponge bob stator plate tho.
So freaking nice and clean dude , keep it up!!!
Great video! Im rebuilding an 87 motor right now and appreciate the work you've done to make rebuilding these motors easy for a beginner. One thing I'd like to recommend so you don't scratch any more cases. Instead of using a chisel to bend the lock washers, use long flat nose pliers.
I also recommend medium retaining compound on the water pump bearing and center crank bearings.
Best video I watched to help me build my first one thanks and will be looking for those mod parts
Subscribed!! Awesome video. Keep up the good work!!
I cant wait to see this thing on the trails!
awesome vid man cant wait to see the raptor 660 build im currently trying to jet my 660 having some trouble lol
Nice one pal banshee my next project, well put together vid very easy to follow top job thanks Justin uk
One tip I like to do with smaller bolts an plastic go backwards till you feel the threads kinda pop lightly so you don't cross thread even more so with plastics 👍. Sick build
This was literally a perfect time to drop this video. I just finished tearing down my banshee the other day to fully restore it. Mike check your ig inbox... great work brother!
the detail in the video is so good u can actruly copy it from minet to minet i have said it befor and ill say it agen i get stuck watching your videos all the way untill the end and im allways left saying i wanna see more lol the videos allready go for so long but i love it
Awesome compliment man; thank you for always watching! 👊
Yohhh I can't believe this 1 hour video is more interesting then a movie

Great Video Mike. With this video there is no reason someone cant put a banshee motor back together,
Dave have I ever told you that I love you man?
Great job as always brother!!
Thank you Andrew!
I prefer to freeze the cups and warm the head to install them. If you put the cups in the freezer for a couple hours they'll get cold enough to shrink about 0.005". Towards the end of the cooling period for the cups you can start gently warming the head with a propane torch in sweeping motion across the whole thing. A welding blanket or firewool will help keep the heat contained. You can use an oven if you're worried about uneven temperature across the head and to reduce any chance of warping the part. Then they drop right in. All you have to do is line up the keys and let go. They plop right into place with zero effort and no chance of damage. There's a few seconds before the parts thermally normalize so if one is a little off you have time to fix it. I'd suggest gloves for the cold bits so you don't warm them up with your hands 😉 It looks super sick so far. Keep it up man.
Dear Michael Thank you for your video's All thou I will never have A chance to build or rebuild A engine I do injoy watching some one of your skill do what you do thank you for your video's !!!!!!!!!!!
Means a lot that you still watched the video Will; thank you!
Awesome video mike. Keep up the great content
Great video and lots to learn as usual.
You explained better than Rocky Mountain thank you
I'm leery of an aluminum sprocket spacer. I've seen many steel ones with oil seal grooves in them.
Also, if you are going to replace your shift lever adjuster peg, the spring should be replaced at the same time, as the worn spring can start wearing on your new adjuster.
When testing the shift mechanism, a spacer can be put on the outside part of the shift shaft before the shift lever is attached. It helps keep the shift shaft pulled all the way to the left, so to be less cumbersome.
Good call on replacing the kick idler gear clip every time. I do too. Tab washers too. When replacing those clips, there is usually a smooth side, and a sharp side. The smooth side should go against the gear, and the sharp side away from the gear.
You don't need the tab washer under the clutch nut, but an appropriate sized washer will keep the nut from digging into the clutch hub.
You had some clutch scuzz on the inside of your hub! That crap is hard to scrub off, you basically have to scratch it out.
On pistons, I like to use my hand deburring tool, and chamfer all the sharp edges. I believe that encourages oil retention.
That's absolutely right about the pin clips. Got a ruined Blaster cylinder here as proof.
Another good walkthrough Mike!
insane video absolutely love this build
Thank you man!
I was like when am I going to have a hour and 15 minutes to watch this , 1:30 in the morning couldn't wait but I had to.
Wow man... that's a big compliment; thank you 🤘👊

Thank you Mike!
The right way to do it…👍🏻💯
Looks awesome. 😉
Awsome build
Awesome video, I´m building an engine and cant figure out if I need two circlips (the ones half a circle) for the crankshaft and gearbox bearings/seals or if I just need one for each? the manual only shows one.
Hi Michael, sehr Gutes Video 👍 Super Erklärung Top Arbeit weiter so 👍 👍👍👍
Another sick ass video bro!
I've never seen anyone grease gaskets before. interesting idea!
Stellar build quality
Incredible!!!
Great job that was a a blast
