I was hoping to see more battles between Moira and Mystique. Those assassination attempts were epic!
It took a minute to get here but the xmen story is really becoming a work of art. I love actually seeing different life's and how they played out
It's Moira's hatred for Irene Adler that caused all of these problems for her. You think Moira X is the only one to be killed by one of her new allies on that island? Absolutely not. They should've brought back Irene Adler (Destiny) and offered her the same forgiveness they offered all mutants. Also they should've put Moira X on the Quiet Counsel instead of hiding her beneath Krakoa.
It’s crazy to see Moria turn out like this, I really want to know how is her son going to take it. Charles never told him that his mother alive.
Considering he is part of the 5, he would probably just quit since they let her die and not even throw her in the pitm
I feel like after Hickman's run, the writers who've picked up the series don't know what to do with the mutants anymore. These stories have been all over the place tbh

I feel like a big issue is Avengers mission was clear "Save the Earth from Incursions" but with the Xmen as a whole, they are dragging their feet in Xforce, Excalibur and even the Main Xmen line (imo)
It doesnt feel like it has enegry and gets sparks of "how does that tie in?" "I AM UP UP!" And "You waited this long for THAT"
I get they got big old pile up but it seems like people as a whole want to muck around like the Forbidden Xmen days over "Each Step builds to the end, each move ticks the Doomsday Clock." ... more like "i didnt think far enough... 20 little meat people pop out of a guy chest! Ooooo!"
Kinda feel you, imo Hickman is just a cut above the rest tho so it's the comparison that does it more than the stories lol
It's fun and good enough. But I think it kind of strays a bit quickly from Moira's intentions in the house/powers of x Hickman run. Now she seems to want to genocide all the mutants instead of just depowering them. And has quickly turned on Charles. When they were fighting Nimrod and Karma and died while trying to find her in time. Now the current writing is like ok Charles is just passively fine with the 'council' of non-humans don't belong (but Dr. Reyes is a resident; or maybe this was marvel's "intersectional replacement" for Moira's original legacy character place in the old x-men comics, hmm, kind of subtly slipping the change in when not many are really caring about it at the moments) since Moira lost her natural mutant power, she's just to be ignored and not helped now by the rest of the mutants. Kind of like in X3:TLS when Mystique lost her powers and became Rebecca Romjin, haha, and like McKellan's Magneto was like, you're not a 'beautiful' mutant anymore, you're on your own.
It's amazing that she had 11 lives when nobody don't care about the first one

Moira turning out to be the enemy is really....lame. They are losing to enemies they shouldn't be losing to and why would Moira take this route when she saw the end with the phalanx or Apocalypse vs Nimrod and what about Omega Sentinel and her timeline. Hickman should have completed this.
Imo Moira has been the enemy the whole time, all she's ever done is hide and lie like the coward she is, becoming the direct cause of mutant genocide more than once (despite being a mutant like yuck) whilst everyone else sacrifices themselves to save their species. Xavier just too much of a Simp to see how something is wrong with a bitch who lies about herself and her powers, hiding out in a place where she can't get hurt, not helping mutantkind, trying to tell him to kill the one mutant who can literally tell them the future just cause of a personal grudge. Like, Xavier is the dumbest guy lol.

I love your videos, plenty of info. But one thing that always drives me crazy are the panels not coinciding with your descriptions🤦🏿♂️. You'll speak on 2-5 different scenes/activities in the book...but the whole time the panel shown is still the first one mentioned. What's up with that???🤷🏿♂️

This is what I hate and cannot stand that all this is especially Irene, mystic’s, Charles and magnetos fault they are all hypocrites to the core it’s because of Moria’s hatred towards Irene which kicks all this off which honestly Moria had every right to hate her considering what she got pyro to do to her. They forgive everyone else yet cannot seem to forgive Moira and his her away like so dirty secret. Moira i understand wanted to stop mutants considering all she has seen that it never ends well for them I also understand where she is coming from.
I have to interject concerning Moira’s relationship with mutants. The audience has to take pause & realize that main problem with Moira & Charles’ many plans is that it is overwhelmingly obvious that the problem isn’t with mutants, but the SAME, wrong people leading them each time. They’re so self absorbed that they won’t entertain the idea of someone else leading mutantkind. She was never mutantkind’s savior because she has not been able to save them and after 10 lives, refuses to admit that she’s horrible at this. Nation building & salvation is way above her pay grade. Charles is great at building a tactical team and giving speeches but should leave it at that.
are the mutants going to try to take out that one girl on Asgard? the one who's supposed to bring in a new era for humans on Earth. Mutants can't win if she does advance the humans. going to piss off Thor though.
I'm @ the part where she amputated her arm and I'm thinking...did she even try to contact a single mutant for help? It's only Mystique & Destiny after her no one else. Pretty Sure Prof. X and Magneto went looking for her to protect her but couldn't find her

I STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND THIS CONFUSING STORY ITS POINTLESS, WHAT DOES IT ADD TO THE X-MEN SERIES?? IT DOESNT MAKE SENSE. HICKMAN CREATED MASTERPIECE & REVIVED THE X-MEN & SEEMS LIKE ALOT OF WRITERS NOT ALL SCREWED IT UP.
It’s driving the whole idea of hickmans forward. We haven’t heard about Moria in years and finally are coming to the next stages
