This same weekend we went to Magnetic Island for my birthday just hubby and me. We went snorkelling 🤿 in the great reef here in North Queensland/ Australia 🇦🇺.

enjoyed this and it bought many happy memories of the trips my husband and I have taken over the many years of our marriage (57 years)! We always had a 'date night" once a week when our children were young...and we still try to do something special once or twice a month , even though our children are grown, 3 grandchildren,and 6 great grandchildren! Making a effort to stay close to one another by these type of getaways will ensure your marriage to last through the years, once your children are grown. Believe me, the time will go fast!

Happy Anniversary! I loved this video. My grandparents and uncle use to manage condos in Naples right on the gulf. So many memories growing up going to Naples and Marco Island. Some of the best beaches there!!

You could have had a nice time staying put and eating dinner out with the view and the pool you had at your AirBnB! Glad you showed us the area though. Surprised that Marco Island was so private. Seems odd to see the summer weather, palm trees, and beaches now that we are inching toward winter up here in Mass! Glad you had a great time!
Thank you Lynnette and Nick for sharing your anniversary get-away with us. Those beaches and palm trees looked so inviting from the cold north. Loved the Cataraman sunset tour, it looked so beautiful. Having a small trip away from children, is so healthy for your marriage.

Last time that I visited Naples was in 2003 and I see that historic district still has the pretty clear lights around trunk of palm trees. That's really pretty when lit up after-dark.

First of all Happy Anniversary to both of you! How great 9 years! I enjoyed being a 3rd wheel on your little trip. Your accomodations looked so nice and clean. You both kept your sense of humor even in the drizzle of rain. All of your meals looked delicious! The sunset cruise was incredible and watching the dolphins at play was adorable.
