bro im pretty sure its been months, and its only going to get worse from here, this is showing cheaters that Respawn/EA wont do anything to them so fk it. The amount of cheaters Ive run into even on low rank is stupid, even dumber that ppl are using it in fucking pubs. I stopped playing since a few days ago because of it, had 2 pub games back to back with cheaters, had a pathy in one just running around 1 clipping from across the map with a car smg, no attachments, hipfiring, but could barely fucking walk... Like my man had the movement a 1 yr old trying to play, couldnt move more than 2 ft with his grapple just retarded how blatant they can be and somehow dont get caught/flagged
No one should be spending a cent on this game anymore. Ea is just letting the game degrade each season.

Respawn could fix this by getting developers who know their shit and could fix this with a simple solution but they don’t bother because they need to make EA money off cosmetics and skins instead of a morally superior game.
I hope we get more cheaters. So the game almost dies and EA/Respawn actually rework the anti-cheat
I'm assuming you never heard of EA before they would literally rather kill a game instead of saving it. There number one motto is "microtransactions", if a game ain't making money its getting axed

They don't come into work for this stuff. They work on the next season and take a week to fix anything that is drastically broken. If it's a little broken it stays. Been that way since the game first came out.

yea the worst ive seen in aimbot, most of the cheaters have absolutely no game awarness, like holy shit spectating them, its hard to watch. You can tell they are fucking bad, walking everywhere staring at the ground/not moving while looting, or getting shot at, but it doesnt matter.

I've come to love cheaters. They really turn the tides in a match.
However, something does need to be done about it. I wish there was a working system where any cheater that gets reported would be sent to a lobby with other cheaters. This hasn't worked for Cod, because people would just spam report good players and they are falsely sent to a cheaters only lobby, which is why that type of system needs to be tinkered with for it to work legitimately

I mean this is just the casual players ranked experience just replace the cheaters with some pros or sweaty TTVs. Theres almost no difference anyways. People clown about the game, but Fortnite probably has the best ranked and tournament system. EA and Respawn would only benefit from copying them but it seems like they are only interested in copying the skin collabs. If anyone here actually wants Apex to be great, do not play the game anymore. Simple. Cant get away from the game for a few hours or days? Then I think you have a bigger problem on your hands that needs addressing.

You can accomplish the same thing on console if you have a strike pack. With modified settings if you set the aim assist setting to 67% and spam aim while setting the shooting mod to crouch fire. Which is just crazy to me but its kinda fun ngl

real armchair experts in these comments rn who clearly don't understand what it takes to fix shit like this. some people clearly havent been playing multiplayer games long enough to realize that this is how it normally goes and the never ending arms race against cheaters is impossible to consistently stop.
some commonly thrown around solutions, that, surprisingly arent actual solutions:
"Just ban him"
Whose to say they havent already and this is now his 4th or 5th account? Its a free game and anyone determined enough can simply create or buy dozens of new accounts for pennies.
"Ban his ip address then"
You can easily spoof an ip with a vpn if you know what you're doing making the ban easily circumventable.
"Hardware ban him then"
Surprise surprise theres ways of getting around that as well if you're decently knowledgeable and besides they can always just replace parts.
It isn't as black and white as people make it out to be, there's a ton of work gone into both anti cheats and cheats all the time and its not unreasonable that the 22 yr old unemployed loser that cheats in video games has more time to develop their cheats then the full time dev who has many other things to work on.
