Ethical/system hacking is a real job and this guy could definitely make a career for himself.
Unfortunately most companies look at things, like what this guy is doing, as a crime once they are committed (which it essentially is to a certain degree) and consider him a criminal. This is because in ethical hacking, you’re supposed to report the vulnerability not abuse it.
If anyone remembers the Half-Life 2 hacker that leaked the game, you’d know this type of story typically doesn’t end well or with a job opportunity.

I feel like giving this guy more positive press just encourages other people that aren't good at the game to look into cheats because its being taken so light heartedly. He's clearly gifted and needs to get a job that really makes use of his talent and I imagine this is a PR move to that kind of attention along with instant self satisfaction of cheating.
tbf theyve tried reporting the account but like the guy says he has 40 accounts, at that point all they can do is go along with it and get the content out of it for their own benefit...if more ppl look into cheats and exploits because of him then thats on the devs for not doing something about it in the first place
100% agree. Every single comment is like, "OMG this guy is such a legend." No!!! He's not a legend. And it isn't funny. It's destroying the game and what he's doing is pathetic and scummy.
From what I've heard, he's trying to convince EA to fix the game's security, so it's something like "Grey hat hacking." I heard also that he's using remote code execution, meaning that Apex can allow someone to run arbitrary code on your computer, so arguably people SHOULD be made aware of this.
Take this with a grain of salt, I don't have any confirmation of this, just something to consider in case it's true.

For example, they could pay 100 dollars for 10,000 packs. Just an example. They could probably do something a lot cheaper than buying packs from the store. But now that we have pack issues, i guarantee you that respawn will be going really hard on hackers lol.

The zombies can be explained by using a bot net with basic scripts.
The apex packs are another issue. One possibility is he used the bot net to connect free packs.

If that guy whose team 40% replaced in ALGS was banned because of cheating activities on his account, then anyone who accepted gifts from destroyer2009 and used those gifts should be banned as well. This is very bad for Apex. Next thing you know is that bunch of people will try to imitate destroyer2009 and start terrorizing pred lobbies and trolling famous streamers. These streamers are making a mistake by making it seems like they are enjoying these acts.

Well I’m sure there are terms and agreements being broken here, plus he gifts packs he didn’t earn or buy. That’s like saying that printing money is legal. If EA’s legal team finds out where he lives he’s done for.
Printing money is only legal when funding wars, bailouts, and inflation.
Cheating itself is illegal. By creating an account and playing the game you agree to terms and services. The TOS clearly state that cheating is not allowed and if you DO cheat you give Respawn the right to take legal action against you.
