HP makes a lot more than PC'S, they've had a huge reputation in making electronic test equipment for decades. Multimeter, Spectrum Analysisers, the list is huge.
HP in my opinion is a nasty company that supports the apartheid state of Israel and its genocides in Palestine. Not only that but they are rent seeking in their printer subscriptions they foist upon their customers. They are disgusting company and I wish I had never spent any money on them.

@knownguy5694 ive been using it for over a year now, its still perfectly fine.
@knownguy5694 My hinges broke after 5 years. I had the first generation though so I don't know if the quality has diminished. The battery was good though. Not saying it was the best. Definitely not the worst.
@knownguy5694 similarly to @naija395 my hinge just broke after only 3 years and I got it in 2020, so later than the first gen. Other than the speakers randomly diminishing in volume and some pixel burnout, the laptop was usable until now. Also hp support is ridiculous to try to contact especially when you're out of warranty. Definitely beware

Had a Hp laptop for less then 4 years and the power randomly turns off. When you start it up the power just turns off after 10 seconds and you have to close it and plug it in for 5 minutes before you can turn it on again. I had a macbook air for 8 years and this never happened. I'm never buying a hp laptop ever again its pure garbage, save your money and actually get a good laptop brand. Never buy from best buys again.
My experience is different from yours tho, almost 6 years with heavy use and absolutely busted the Laptop's ass and it still works.

@@user-gu9gy8wj9oI have been using a Pavilion 15 for 6 years, i7, 16 GB, 4 GB Nvidia... It still works as great as it used to. Only issue is that I couldn't find a good battery replacement in my third world country.
