  • Rice makes up a major part of the diet of more than 3 billion people around the globe. The staple grain is used in savory dishes like Spain’s paella and sweet dishes like Filipino champorado. Rice is believed to have first been cultivated in China, which is also the world’s largest producer of rice today. While there are so many dishes that include this popular grain, we can only show some of the best regional rice dishes that exist around the globe. Here’s how rice is eaten in a few different ways around the world.

      @WinterCrystal1009 Před 3 lety

      @@timothytobing7212 Well for me, the problem was the fact that they sprinkled chili powder on the rice and that the mixing was done horribly. Like, so biryani is composed of two parts: the curry and the rice. You first make the curry and dump the rice in and mix it. You add the chili powder to the curry not the rice or else it won't be fully developed. Along with that, the curry and rice are supposed to be well mixed, meaning you shouldn't see any clumps of nuts etc (like in this example) when serving as it's supposed to already be evenly mixed in the pot.

    In Brazil we have a rice dish called "Baião de Dois", which is made of rice and beans. Baião de Dois is usually made with leftover beans, so the raw rice is added to the already cooked beans until the rice. Other seasonings like onions, tomatoes, bell pappers, cheese, butter and nata can be added (nata is a dairy product from our region, it's a type of salty cream). It's often paired with fried or roasted meats and is a staple food from the Northeast region of Brazil.

Он известен более тысячи лет и является объектом нематериального культурного наследия Узбекистана и Таджикистана. Из всего многообразия древний спор идёт между самаркандским и ферганским рецептами, какой вкуснее и полезнее для здоровья.

    Hello Food Insider, I really enjoyed your video. I would like to try the Jollof Rice you mentioned, as it looked scrummy. Thank you for your great work here on CZcams, I look forward to corresponding in future videos. Kind Regards, Rina.
