The house looks nice, but the furnishings are extremely tacky.
If you want to live in a showroom then find a showroom
You’re the kind of person who would paint the whole house white or cream with white or cream carpet because you’ve got no sense of what a home should feel or look like if you ever furnished a house it would be boring With no character or fun you might as well live in a showroom
@@Heisenberg-yt4ms so much judgement in your reaction to a person who was just expressing his opinion... I'm impressed, and not in a positive way!
@@Heisenberg-yt4ms no he is right, what is it with those tacky paintings, art and whatnot, other than that + the weird annex that has a separate entrance, it is a great house.
@@MrYounis26 the Separate entrance a middle class person like you wouldn’t understand
Looks like a footballers house with interior designed by bored wag. The videos left me needing to get a viewing of a house I could never afford, just to see what's behind the little doors.
The space is beautiful, but the furnishings are a little cold for this home. Would definitely use some warmer accents in certain places. Great location though too!
The house itself is nice. But the interior design and color combinations need proper change. Those beds and the sheets look like they have directly come out of Costco
Hugely underwhelming garden/outdoor space for £5.5m
What a great job these presenters have done. Matt and Summer did a good job recruiting them. A very natural flow 👏
Its Matt's brother and his Girlfriend....
Why do you wear shoes indoors and especially on the bedroom carpet?
Oh Lotto gods don't fail me now 😁
Tomorrow's Euromillions God will be with you, £191M will do the trick 😅

Interior design in british so called mansions reminds me of a posh hair saloon - shiny mirrors, glass tables, brass, silver, chrome. Btw do britssh desingers ever think of removing the ground floor ceiling to make an open space in the living area or do they just love creating low ceilings so you retain the feeling of living in a council estate in which you headbutt hanging lights?
I don’t know where you live but space in the uk is limited, to waste space going up into the next floor, would be crazy. In fact I watched a open ceiling in a London Penthouse, and all the comments were what a waste of space the huge window going up into the next floor. But also there’s no need to be snitchy about people living in council houses, you can still make the inside of your home like your own castle.
@@sandrawestley4193 I am talking specifically about mansions and people who can afford space yet they still choose low ceilings, cramped rooms that give you claustrophobia. British general domestic architecture is another story. I recommend checking design trends and decors in other countries. A lot to learn.
Even for Gerrards Cross, that's way overpriced. And there's no way I'd want to be paying for those furnishings...
Totally agree!!
No way
Lovely house, thank you for showing us.
The front door look quite low. My husband is 6’3” and he’d have to duck to come through it. Nice entertaining kitchen. You can cook and visit very nicely with that U shaped counter. The house is nice but I hope none of those furnishings or art comes with this place. A lot of the big light fixtures need replacing too like the one in the dining room. As it is the interior looks like one of those gaudy Las Vegas hotels with all the lights and neon signs. Bucking ham shire is a lovely place to live. My uncle and aunt have a large Georgian country home there that they stay at on weekends, holidays and during the summer. The garden of this property is wonderful.
Beautiful house I’d so use some of that land for a big veggie garden, and some chickens (next door would hate me
y'all look more comfortable in front of the camera every video! Killing it. Still obsessing over the last house you featured.
Will Brits and everyone else stop saying "y'all"???? You're not from Texas.
@@lanc9157 I'm actually born and raised in Oklahoma and live in Texas...
@@lanc9157 imfao why’s it’s bothering you
Nice video, nice mansion but you cannot see walking on carpets with shoes on!
agreed!
Nice pad but ceilings are way too low, I'm surprised you didn't hit your head when walking in, the location wise it's a bit too rural for me and the price tag is mouth-watering. No wonder it's been on the market for over a year.
Ceilings to me look normal for UK, he is 6ft 4” perhaps it’s an illusion of the camera.
This house has a nice exterior, it reminds me of something you'd see on one of those soap operas like Young & The Restless or Days of Our Lives. The property has potential but those furnishings have got to go honey. With some tweaks, paint, the right furniture, lighting, floral arrangements, art, and some strategicly placed femininity, this place can really be a cozy home. I like the gated entry and the separate annex/apartment. Does the property have a basement? I'd hope so for that price. Overall nice structure!
Nearly all houses in the UK don't have basements, I think it's because of a drainage issue, so it would cost a fortune to keep it from flooding
@@junhyunwoo thats interesting! Nearly all houses in Canada have basements, thats why they're so expensive, because of the digging and equipment/labor, pipes, drainage etc. I guess the annex and that upper second floor with 2 bedrooms could equal the space of a basement but the price of the property still seems to be on the higher end.
@@princessindigo About four million of the price is the location which I know sounds bonkers. For the same price in Scotland, you could have a country estate with hundreds of acres of land and probably a basement.
@@Div3r yes bonkers is the correct word. Lol
Yes, a lot of the decor and particularly the trashy conveyor-belt "art" throughout the property, is horrendous. Those infinity mirrors that he was drooling over were a tacky design cliché two or three decades ago. , Money doesn't buy good taste, it would appear.
I notice the sale is for the property fully furnished. I wonder how much the price would be reduced by if one wasn't being forced into buying the often questionable furnishings "art" and decor, practically all of which I'd consign to a skip.
The house architecture is awesome…..
Can you please show plant room of these houses if they are running on AIr source heat pumps or Boilers ?
This is best among all I've seen on thus channel and I love this house...God bless u guys
I loved the blue chair and butterfly art over it.
What a beautiful home!
Great house. Looking forward to moving in..
Interesting home....I like the space....looks very cosy, but i would prefer a bigger kitchen
Architect: How much ambient lighting do you want?
Client: All of it !!!
Very nice place but would perhaps have a granny flat downstairs. Didn't see much of the annex and shame there's only a 2 car garage. A place like that with English weather, it really needs a minimum of 4.
Wow this is perfect example of money can't buy taste. With the entire decor 🤣🤣
You like the new houses really
@@MrSuperG doesn't everyone like modern. And the garden is amazing but most people would rip out all that old and funky decor. It's out dated unless your like 60 years old lol
@@rmb_86 yeah I do actually the old stuff last for ever mostly new stuff is always breaking

gerrards cross ... well well.... my home town ... this is top park ... i lived in south park ... worth it just for the name!
A very large House with plenty of potential! And a really good presentation by this couple!👍
I am very shocked that this cost 5.5, I know it's probably due to the times were in now and the prices going up, including the area. my families home cost them 900,000 and it's bigger than this, other than this having 3 car garage, we have a two. they have been living in the home for over 10 years now though, still looks like a new build. they have a built in swimming pool, hot tub, outside bar/bbq area, guest building. 5.5 million for this? times have changed.
If u don’t mind me asking where is your family home that could be why it cost so much more also inflation aswell
her leaving the wardrobe doors open are killing me 💀💀
Beautiful!
Pretty good for the price. No jacuzzi but the sauna makes up for it. Liked a slightly larger pool and cinema , could have cut one of the endless rooms for that, but probably worth the money.
Love this channel
i love this house x
Hello please can we see some modern luxury house mansion in Nottingham and surrey please thank you for your time love from jess Xxxxx
Hi Guys, great content. Can you do a tour of a Bellway Philosopher show home? Would be great to hear your comments on it as we are hoping to buy one!
I'll take this for its proximity to London for policy, financial, and intellectual social circles, the grounds and pool for my children, and the the multiple, wide and open, indoor and outdoor living, recreational and social venues. I would have preferred at least an acre of grounds for my kids, but could make do with these. The furniture is cheap 1960s/1970s hippie/utilitarian/working class and even somewhat effeminate, but that can be replaced
What an absolutely amazing house 🏘️🏠
love this house
Love this house. I could see myself entertaining my friends and family there. Xx well done on the video x
Awesome home
Thank you alot
Nice House!! But I did not like the U shaped kitchen layout. Will get very crowded with more than 1 people at the cooker which is very common when you are entertaining a large number of friends. A few rooms are also not well thought through and hence you do not have TV right opposite to the bed. The garden was amazing though!! Loved the outdoor space.
Love love LOVE this house would have bought it yesterday but offered at the 3.8-4.5m region. Ceilings are “low” but okay as that’s the UK for you 😂 garage would be moved to the football/garden area and converted to a guest quarter for family including the annex.
Interior design ain’t designing at all - I’d sell everything but the gorgeous Timothy Oulton mirror in the dining room 🤤 to pay for downstairs reno for better functionality and use of all the rooms.
The master suite decor was so bad but a great space, they didn’t do a good job showing the hers dressing room - the layout on the floor plans show more. That being said reno would need to be done to extend as you ain’t that rich without a lot of items as a lady.
Garden was cute but the lower offer I’d make would reflect it’s worth. Overall the home and location is great for a large family who stay at home being a gated community and I ain’t mad at that at all! 😍😍
Very slight problem with your offer … need the 💰 first 🤣

nice house.. but I was surprised that the principal beadroom only had a large double bed.... seems wrong for that type and price of house... i live in 3 bed semi and have kingsize in all rooms..... still leave plent floor space in each room...
Amazingly big
It’s like they have something against high enough ceilings
Looks stunning 🥰 Greetings from Scotland 😊 Have a great day everyone 🌻
The front pitch is like been at my mothers house in the back yard!!!
Perfect house for American moving to England. Traditional exterior. Modern interior. Some of the art is great. Some needs to be moved around. Most rooms need to be re-furnished with eclectic combination of modern/antique.
The house looks lovely, the sad thing however about British building techniques is, all those interior walls, except those which are load bearing, are made of plaster board. The same happens in The USA etc. I'm English by the way. The ceilings are all wood and covered in plaster board so anything happening upstairs can be heard downstairs. I live in Germany, and the majority of houses etc are built with reinforced concrete flooring, solid interior walls and are generally just solidly put together.
I agree 100% with you. I'm from Austria but live in the UK. This very thing annoys me daily in my house in the UK. If anybody walks upstairs it can be heard in the entire house.
Great presentation by Matt and Summer, love that they put the floor plan on the screen, but why do these homes all have very bad interior decor? I mean just incredible poor taste many of them. I’ve tried to watch several of these videos now, and just can’t stand the horrible wall art, and/or furniture. Beautiful homes but very disturbing interior decorating.
Fantastic
I swear that house was featured on one of the dumping ground episodes
Wow 😮
What a Home ❤
Hi, is the big black mask in the tv room a chair on the other side?
Host are always great on this channel. The house is gorgeous, I loved it, and obviously that furnishing screams bad taste.

Stunning
Hmmmm....i do like this property, quite a bit. Id like a place near to London
Love your videos. But the audio is a bit fustrating, as it goes from loud to quiet often
To many lounges, they could have made a better and bigger cinema. Possibly put in a gym/games room as well. Also a bit to dark for me in places though, I would also get rid of that round sofa by the entrance as well, it just feels in the way. The layout seems a bit mixed as well, bit all over the place really. I don't think it's worth £5.5m though possibly £3.5m - £4.7m at most. The area looks a bit boring as well more for the old people really.
you can easily turn some of the lounges to a games/gym room yourself.
@@MrYounis26 4 that money u want it already there
@@casper-cr3kz true, but if you have 5 mil to spend on a house then it doesn't seem like a problem to convert rooms

If you look around the UK you can get better size bigger ground in a better area for £3 ,1/2 million.
How on earth do you get the opportunity to film these wonderful properties?
8:49 Love Tarantino vibe in here
I love this house!!! One of my favourite houses shown on the show! The interior is a lil' tacky tho
God bless just amazing
Even though the house itself great and got amazing features, furnitures make the house way worse, how poorly decorated such a huge house, make it cheap looking and somehow one cheap sofa is everywhere in different colours.
Great presentation!
Very characteristic indeed 🌝
Ceilings in these houses always look so low. Gotta crank those ceiling heights up! Interior furnishings are poorly chosen. Nice exterior and grounds tho
The furnishings were just to stage the home. No one lives there evidently
I’d like to know what the current owners do for their job or business! Be good to know how they could afford such a place!
Garden is awfwl.
You are right but the market is profitable if you are using a really good broker or account manager to help out with trades or provide signals

Great house, great tour. Thanks. Get rid of that tacky interior. In fact., those owners should be stripped of their money and it be given to me. Liked how you presented the house in its environment. Looks like a lovely area.
Gerard’s Cross, very close to Slough…
Stunning house interior not to my taste but room sizes big with the walk in wardrobe / bathrooms 👍👍👍👍👍👍
I wanted to see what was in the little doors
Honest question, why is the ceilling always so low in UK? Is that because of regulations or what? Other than that, it's a very beautiful mansion, great video guys
could be due to height limits on houses as to not spoil the style of the village
It doesn't get hot here very often so high ceilings to control the heat aren't necessary. Also, if we had high ceilings it would cost way more to heat the rooms.
I like lower ceilings but much more interesting would be why the US has wooden houses, toilets on the floor, carpet everywhere and windows that can't even be tilted
@@multa7053 True true, so true. And I'm from the US.
Got me asking the same question. I would prefer higher ceilings give the house the sense of openness
Did they mention why it comes fully furnished? I think I missed that bit.
Because even the trash collectors won’t take it.
