@@ItsMeaDMaDe man I need to get back in to printing again. I still need to assemble my Darth Reven statue I printed last year. But my leather business picked up for the holidays and kinda forgot about printing. Finishing up a holster and wallet to put up on etsy.
looks awesome, almost like a vinyl figure... i always wanted to get ma sla printer but since i mostly want to do bigger stuff i will go with the bambu p1s
I would say get back to fdm and use bondo glazing and spot putty it’s a game changer I hated sanding fdm I use to go a ton of filler primer until I found this now all I need is 2 thick coats of filler primer. Spot putty is better than wood filler and if you add some acetone it’ll be thinner which makes it easier to get into cracks. Hope this helps
@user-th1wh2wu6r I just use cheap/old 3d print resin. Paint it on thin cure with uv light and sand. Gets rid of 90% of layer lines with 1 quick application then spray primer to smooth it all out
Tip for anyone who hates sanding bondo glazing and spot putty about 5 dollars a tube, sand with 150, then filler primer, then sand with 400, filler primer again, wet sand with 1000. Sanding sponges are your best friend use a mix of soft and hard sponges (Optional) keep wet sanding higher to achieve extreme smoothness. The spot putty is the greatest tool I have in making things smooth way better than wood filler
Your absolutely right. I did this in fdm for those that don’t have a resin printer to show you can get great results just takes a lot more work. Thanks for the comment.
That looks great! The finish looks as great as a resin print
Kids next door vibes, love it
Excellent work, looking forward to seeing the finished result👍👍
Thanks I’m looking forward to it too.
Outstanding work can't wait to see it finished ❤
Do you have videos of the post processing used? This model looks sooo good!
I actually am working on a video now to post in a week.
Beautiful indeed!
Awesome. Link to model? Did you add magnets? How did you get it to stick in the video?
Its going to look good when you paint it
I’m half way through now and it’s turning out good can’t wait to share.

For the first time i feel bad for a koopa
It's look so smooth what's your cura setting and what is your nozzle size
Smooth
That is good quality for ender 3 pro
If you tune them in they can get fantastic results
You deserve 100 million likes because sanding on FDM made me quit FDM and switch to Resin. People have no idea how tedious it is to sand an FDM.
Started with resin. Now I have an fdm printer and it’s a huge learning curve

He’s not going ba ba🕺 he’s going baAAAA!
That looks like that Mario tattoo
The turtles bottom left jaw needs a little smoothing, my eye went strait to it. The rest looks great!
Mario the idea vs Mario the man. Perchance.
I imagine a 6 year old mario fan,
stomping on an innocent tortoise.
What filament is used it is like resin??
Resin printer steps into the room
The mustache looks like luigi's
What are your settings? Man that print is really smooth
It wasnt about the setting it was how he sanded it and stuff
I think it’s ABS treated with acetone to dissolve the outer layer. Not sure though 😅
Poor Koopa😅😅
Poor turtle XD

why is the video in reverse?
Looks amazing! Could’ve saved yourself a lot of headache by just resin printing it though…
