the typical nature of roam is not literally about roaming around. Vision, Setup, Zone Management and Damage Taken Maximization. It's quite harder to play roam than other roles but mastering it can literally take you up to higher ranks. There's also Burst roam but i dont consider them as a reliable roam as they are only focusing on damage, they're more likely to kill then run.
Every role is technically useless if enemy is good and teammates is not

recently started trying to get into the roam role, it's pretty fun once you get actual teammates, *and not just a braindead mm or core that tries to 1v5 a cc cracked enemy team.*

You can only do bb sit if the opponent 's tank is also bbsiting there MM. The very important is to contest their strength during the early game and that's where mage will do the talking for BB siting.
Even if the enemy roamer does bb, you still roam normally and attack their jungle or another lane. When the kills and lane pressure draw their roamer out of gold lane, then head over and help the mm
This is confusing to me.. if I help mm then my jungler gets invaded and we lost objectives.
If I help jungler then my mm will lost lane and tower.

Actually, you must need to take advantaje that you know where their roamer is for to help taking turtle or lord, helping in mid or invading their jungler
Depend always of the situation. Some time you have to be a babysitter but babysitter probably. If exp do fine and gold lane suffer much you will probably around mid and gold lane more to make sure your mm can farm probably to get a advantage in mid game fights.

As a tank player with tigreal main i try to give vision to my jungler and then helping mid even my dealing a small amount of dmgd at the early and then trying to give my mm the first blood
All I want are Jungles that push and get objectives other than buffs, farm, not push and use retri on buffs when Lord is up
When I roam I first help gold lane to clear it's lane fast and then I do some jungling ( 1 or 2 buffs only) then I help in mid lane enemy first tower then exp lane first and second enemy tower then I act as support
As a tank if we give vision in epic Glory our glory teammates will jump into fights unnecessary

As a roamer i very very often encounter player who just wanna pick only hyper and mm and when they died by their own mistakes they blame on roamer(me), and after getting kills with my help , not a single appreciation is coming 😅😢

When I start a team fight and we start winning, my teammate for no fucking reason leaves me alone in a team fight resulting me death even if the enemy hp is just 10% they ain't gonna comeback and finish the job, no they'll let the enemy leave and recover

Giving vision but teammate doesn't look at map.
Tanking the 4 enemies and letting the teammate to retreat.. the teammate I'm trying to save: Runs back to the enemies to try to get a kill
Another thing is.. ML recommends using Favour roaming boots when you use self-heal heroes as roam (like Balmond, Alice and Fredrinn)
I realised this cuz I had to go roam with Alice and it recommended Favour 😂, I used Encourage tho

Talking from experience. It's better to babysit mm for the first 2 min.
Hopefully your jungle is not invaded but the faster your mm farms the easier the game will be.

Like sometimes during mid - late game i buy roaming, mainly conceal when playing mage to help team in initiating fight.

Actually not, in fact, thats pretty good strategy
For me, try to be consistent and rotate to help other teammates. For early game I go with help jungler with first buff to make sure they get it safely, then midlane so they can level up for litho and then Gold lane to provide vision and peel. Don't overstay in lanes and rotate as much as possible.
EXP lane can go screw themselves because if they blame us Roamers for not backing them up when they're expected to be independent, it's the EXP laner's fault. Its not really our job to back them up when they are expected to provide space for the team by dominating their lane without backup since Roamers help the other members of the team.
Indeed never go exp lane. Even in 1v4 situation exp lane can escape the gank and stick to tower clearing lanes.
one day, you will see your faulty idea when they start feeding other laner. You will see that fed Lapu on enemy team ravaging you. If my rotation allows, i help my exp equally as they carry early and mid, help in objectives and the sooner they take the tower, the sooner they start roaming with YOU. If i cant afford to rotate i ping my mage to help out since mage should gank exp when me and jg gank gold. I have 1700 tank & 1500 exp games and theres nothing sadder when my team comes and i get fed af, then i leave my lane and unleash their mistake of neglecting their fellow teammate. ALL TEAMMATES ARE DESERVING OF HELP, its just that some take higher priority unless you are far away, then you help who you can and carry on with a better trade later on cause no enemy will gank in a same pattern every match. You are still grasping their rotation patterns. Its not a bad idea to help your EXP after taking the turtle cause he is already helping by applying pressure on their EXP and keeping him from rotating.
Also, by helping a fellow random player, you earn their trust. Nothing better than being followed balls deep into the fight by your exp who has cc and is sturdy and will often times save you back. I had a game with pre revamped gloo (s1 scaled with magic power, not hp) and while i didnt NEED to gank him, we helped each other. He saved me, i thanked, he said YW, i saved him clutch, he thanked me and didnt believe, i said YW, then the CHADNESS struck and i was 1v4 into their purple buff ulted by yin but he DIDNT CARE. He alone was walking in, being as tanky as gloo is, ready to die by my side except we were holding out long enough while causing enough chaos so our fed jg cleared lane, took tower and then wiped them all. All i will say, chadness exists.
@@generalknez3942 I feel you bro,it happened with me today only,am a Roamer main,but was doing exp cause our S1 picked roam,but our tank and mage didn't visited my lane a single time also for almost 12 mins, enemy's exp and jungler kept on ganking me ,and I got fed up and frustrated atlast and started ganking in teamfights cause I thought it's better than feeding, but when I play roam I provide equal support to both gold and exp ,so they don't get outnumbered. I think roam is the most important role in the game beside jungler ,a good roam can win matches but a bad roam can ruin the whole tempo of the game, felt it a lot,mostly in MCL matches and some ranked matches like today's one in legend lobby
@@sandipmukherjee6481 unless you play exp role like i did with 1500 matches you wont see how ungrateful that role is. For me, exp role is right behind roamer in terms of importance. My signature fighter is Terizla and hes a prime example. Early game he dominates anyone and if you help him get SLIGHTLY fed hes absolutely unstoppable.
Yes, he can "manage" against ganks but the sooner you gank him and free his lane by destroying first enemy tower, the sooner he may rotate.
Later on when i fully grasped how exp lane & role work gotta admit its every roamer's dream. Its basically a tank but you are allowed to deal damage. Its i think my personal favourite role buuuut i also enjoy roaming very much and have a long history of playing tanks in other games, not just MLBB.
As an exp laner, i like something big, strong, T O U G H and packed with CC. Though i play various fighters, my favourite pick is Terizla because hes the best for my playstyle and is certainly viable even for high glory 5 man (i saw a man run him with estes in his squad). Basically, early and mid game you are op, however in lategame you fall off in dmg BUT make up in sturdiness. You literally take forever to die if you play correctly. Lategame you sit in backline and protect your squishies from enemy heroes that can easily dive backline and kill them effortlessly while your tank is in the front. Almost noone will dare to jump on your mm/mage if they are next to a hero that has AoE airborne effect and later on 65% slow. Terizla ult is the thing making this possible, airborne interrupts dash/movement and his slow is something you will feel. You can check bushes for your team and if enemy pops out, ult on your teammate's location in case the enemy is dangerous and you think they will pounce on your partner. It only matters to zone out enemies.
Also, sitting in backline you still have your ult to jump into the frontline after your tank made a set so now you step up and take the damage while your tank falls back into your backline to hit that regen button and possibly get a cooldown back. Ever happened to get low hp as a roamer but exp came jumping right in? Yeah, you should do that as a fighter in lategame. Then after tank took a small respite in your backline they go back and cc the enemy again, making their return to the front line. Just make sure you know whether or not you are allowed to retreat as an exp or you think your front line will shatter so you better stay.
I've also learned the itemization and dont think i need to study it further unless i wanna climb high enough to be matched against sweaty 5 stacks that know EVERYTHING. I just dont wanna tryhard THAT much but i do have some advanced knowledge myself, so as you said you're in legend, i may help you if you need something.

What if the enemy tank or roamer babysits the mm and the allied mm is struggling
Duh, then you help your mm. The reason why mid lane pressure is so good, is because you can rotate alongside your mage. It means a better chance to punish the enemy mm + enemy roamer.
Mid lane pressure means, you clear mid lane so fast, or you make the enemy mage low hp so he couldn't rotate to gold lane in time. Then it'll be 3v2 to your advantage.

Just think of which would benefit more from your help. If your mm sucks, then better your help your jg, then your jg can punish enemy mm to even out. If enemy roam is a hilda, then help your jg early game cuz they will surely invade. If your jg is tanky like tankcelot or fredrinn or barats, and then your mm looks reliable, then you can probably babysit your mm so you can have an easy late game advantage. It all depends on the situation.
