I think this is amazing what you have done with these models Brandon, I only wish i could buy some of these in the uk !!! now i have so much footage of yours to watch ill never watch another channel on you tube, keep up the good work man and think about doing a holiday package to come to yours for a week so i can see all these for real !!! lucky lucky man !!!!!!
I have a rather silly question. I don't know very much about cranes, but I do enjoy seeing them in action and I love your videos. Anyway, what's the Y guying for?
Glad you enjoy them, the Y-guy system is to reduce boom deflection and side to side deflection. It pulls back the boom so it doesn't bend down like a fishing pole and keeps boom straight if the arms are spread out to the sides.
Cranes etc.com. They are very detailed. The Standard crane about 125. With the extra Rigging. 635. They make every Crane imaginable. I have looked these up That's how I found what the cost. I'm letting you know what your in for if you decide to get one.
I've been one almost 4 years now, I love it. I'm mostly with the 500 or 650t rigs but also go out with a 300, 250, or 120t when the big cranes are not working.
The addition of the "workmen" TRULY help to show how the REAL thing is set-up!!! BRAVO!!!!!!!
I really like your main frame trailer. A lot people forget or don't know that little detail.
This is a great crane! so cool!

Are the buildings scratch-built or are they from some kit?
Are the outriggers brought in separate in real life?
yes they are, they might leave 2 on if they can, but otherwise, too much weight
+cranedude07 wow that's awesome. I would love to see a real one. The biggest I've worked around was a Grove 5225 and 7550

Good morning
You have to be a crane operator.
Oiler
I was one several year's back for Deep South Crane in Louisiana. Hard work. 195 ton Liebherr, 600 ton Terex Demag. Those were the day's.
I've been one almost 4 years now, I love it. I'm mostly with the 500 or 650t rigs but also go out with a 300, 250, or 120t when the big cranes are not working.
