For those thinking $100 a month is a lot. Well do the math. Because I drive for Lyft and they literally take 50% of your annual income for platform fees. One year I made 85,000 and they took 38,000 for platform fees and 7,000 for some other BS. I'd rather pay hundred dollars a month to a company for the year then keep giving lyft half of my earnings, when I'm doing all the work and having to deal with their demanding picky passengers.

My brother I like the way these other driver companies are starting to move Uber and Lyft out of position this has been long overdue and this new company kinda put me in the mind of a company called empower that has been out for about a year now and you pay a monthly fee and you keep 💯 percent off the money as well and you set your own price also I wanted to let everyone know to keep your eyes open for a ride share company called REVO this is a company were u keep all the money except for $1.00 that's all the company takes and you can make money other ways buy recruiting other drivers and riders so for ever driver that does a trip u get paid for that Same thing that goes for ever rider u get paid a percentage from them as well the only thing is u have to be the one to open it up in your own city

    • @shawnintown

That REVO company is smart!! I definitely think uber and lyft time is coming very soon. It's like instagram, they thought they had it locked in and treated their users like crap, then TIKTOK showed up!

I've been on there for over a year. In my market, they have made the monthly fee completely free as it catches more riders. It's still slow 🐌 right now because unfortunately people still use the og apps first. Wridz will pay more in all markets that have upfront pricing. Im Raleigh, NC market.

Wridz is just like the other platforms. There is the base fee to get in your car and then there’s a per minute and per mile charge just like taxi cabs so all four platforms do it the same the good news with Wridz get paid while waiting of course, after the trip has started, the full pay all of the pay now of course just like the other two platforms there’s a credit card processing fee, there’s the insurance and in South Carolina. There’s one percent that goes to the state. All three of those are paid for by the passenger just like the other two platforms if there’s an airport pick up or drop off yes in the Myrtle Beach market , there’s a three dollar charge and that is paid for again by the Passenger the fair you will get 100% of the base price the miles and the minutes

As an Uber and Lyft driver here in South Carolina for the last eight years, I’ve heard horror stories of some of the drivers in this market. Wridz wants the best drivers that are motivated and dedicated to make money drivers on the other apps. Just turn on the app and take whatever comes their way oh of course they try to weed out. Try to get the “better rides” The interview process is to explain how Wridz works and since I’ve done it for one year here in my market and done it 1336 Wridz I explained to my new drivers what it entails what’s gonna happen and how it works that’s the process so if you’re afraid of that stick with Uber and Lyft

    • @1958BeST
      @1958BeST Před 3 měsíci

Let me explain why. Wridz isn't just looking for any driver. They are looking for the best of the best. Having an in-person meetup, (technically, it's not an interview, just the word) is a good way of getting a feel for the potential driver. As to the drug test, it is just one of the safety features, and personally, my rideshare customers love the idea and feel safer knowing that. Speaking of driving your own vehicle, you have the opportunity to grow your own clientele and I don't believe you paying $100 a month yet. Start with one customer and go from there. We drivers are given a chance to build our clientele prior to the full charge, if any at this time. Since you are a driver, have you joined any of the Wridz Driver Groups? We work together to encourage each other and share information that may help another driver. If you do wish to join, you must answer questions, one of which is your Driver ID #. It will be verified prior to approval of acceptance. I recommend the FB page United Wridz Driverz. Drivers from different regions have joined and you may even know a few.

Sketchy. Their are fees associated with operational cost. Apps pay an individual insurance cost per ride. Each apps pays a corporate tax on each dollar etc. So to say drivers keep 100% of the fare and these apps have cost sound Sketchy. Now Uber and lyft require annual background checks. If that's a state or federal mandate then would be on the driver annually or quarterly. Let's say drivers some how do get 100 of the fare. Like Uber and lyft the law suits from passengers will follow down the line. These apps will like Uber and lyft seek out investors. The structure will then need to change just like Uber and lyft. Uber has been around since 2009. And has paid out 62 million in law suits. And again their biggest cost is commercial insurance. So let that marinate a little.... all in all every start up takes a lost in the beginning. Some times for years. But as soon as they get big enough for people to rely on them things change. So if you can get in, then make your money a.d prepare to exit

Then stick with U/L sounds like they treat you right. Also, just so you understand what the fair is on Uber Lyft and rides it’s the base price plus mileage plus minutes Uber Lyft will take on average 50% of that and with rides you keep 100%. I’ve done it for 1336 Wridz my first average $18 per ride, so you can guess all you want about how you think Wridz is gonna work operate I’ve actually done it

Wow, you are quite the naysayer! You sound like one that knows that you've gotten messed over and now don't trust anyone. I understand, that is why I and many many others have decided to give Wridz a fair shake. Wridz is not like the others, they are here for us drivers.

The monthly subscription alone will make me pass on this app. No thanks. I will stick to Uber and lyft.

I love this comment because last year I did $26,000 on Uber and Lyft and they kept 13,000 that my first year on Wridz from April 2023 to April 2024 I did $24,000 and I kept all of it. The monthly subscription fee in my market is $50 bucks a month. I don’t pay it because I’m the original owner not bragging just saying so to spend $600 a year to keep $24,000 or to give up $13,000 to make $13,000 do the math it’s not rocket science

U/L take way more than $100 per day out of your pocket, wake up!

I don't mind the subscription fee. The app has to make a profit somehow.
But, I would prefer that drivers can set their pay. Wridz sets the pay, so you could get paid less.

@@doyle7174 right now Wridz owner regional don’t care about the prices right now. We don’t have no drivers here for Wridz it’s dead, He has $.55 per mile on standard and $.85 on extra per mile

Clearly you’re not a driver and all you posted is don’t trust Wridz. Why not I’ve been doing it for a year now and my Market made $24,000 on 1336 rides at about $18 average per ride. I can’t wait to hear your response.

Wow, do you always spew such harsh words for a company you know nothing about? Well, stay where you are then! No one will push you to do better yourself. Some people just don't get it, I understand.
