You’re not wrong. I used to be on a super restrictive diet and I’d eat something and think it was the best thing I ever had. Once my diet was more inclusive I tried those things again and they were painfully mid or even straight up bad but they scratched some strange itch my brain had after eating the same combo of 5 foods every day for a year lmao

Banana and coffee doesn't sound that crazy of a combination what are you talking? Makes more sense than half of the fucking drink concoctions at starbucks, it's an ingredient commonly used in smoothies, has a creamy/sweet taste when blender, and people already add sweet/creamy things to coffee like creamer or whipped cream and even milk, so I'm not sure why everyone is acting like it's a crazy combination, sounds like it's the only fruit you could probably add to coffee that would actually be good
Truth. My friend who has been basically vegan and smoked weed heavily(smoking shits on your taste buds and smell receptors) for over 20yrs has has completely broken sense of taste. Any food or drink that has any smokey flavor "tastes just like bacon" to him, his cooking that he thinks is great is completely mid, etc, etc.
