It's not androids fault, it's the app developers fault. Because all iPhones are the same tech, the app developer can more fine-tune the software for it. However all androids are different so they have to generalise the app to be able to receive uploads from multiple different devices with different level imaging hardware. It's the same thing as why some games don't run on certain PC's well. Also why Snapchat is shitty on Android too.

It's not because they "fine tune" the software, It's because apple has a majority of the phone market for younger generations, leading to app devs making apps for iphones, then porting the app over to android. In addition to the more consistent forms of iphones also make for easier image prosessing

That isn't an issue with android though, that would be an issue with the individual phone's image processing software or hardware, and their compatibility with different apps, which often change their own image processing software... Apple literally payed Samsung like 700million for hardware because apple doesn't have the proper stuff to produce mass quantities . His android more than likely has a better camera & hardware but tiktok cant utilize it due to software limitations on tiktoks side. Don't use tiktok to record videos. it really just comes down to poor optimization & favoritism to apple. Apple literally limits ALL your ability on the phone & on top of that charge a extremely high price for a less durable phone. In my experience I've had 2 different androids get ran over by a car and still work yet all the iphones i've owned have 0 durability half the screen is missing on both. I will say Iphones look good & have good security but beyond that I think you are getting a lot more for your money with an android.

I though Samsung fixed the camera API in android on the recent Galaxy's.
It doesn't matter what Samsung or any other manufacturer does, 'cause it's the TikTok app that's improperly programmed for android phones. If android users (with mid or top tier models) simply recorded the video outside of the TikTok app and then uploaded it to TikTok, the video quality would more often than not be even better than it is on the best iPhones.
