You'll notice your Xbox 1 games run A LOT nicer on the series. 60 fps, better 4k, and obviously the instant load times.

The backwards compatibility is the best thing. You can pick up discs on three generations of Xboxes and they will play.

Pro and an Xbox one Wich were supported up until recently. It wasn't till this last holiday that current gen exclusives began to appear, well ones I am interested in anyway. I've had my Series x for a few months now and am revisiting older franchises like Gears, Dead Space etc. all look amazing on the series X.upscaled and frame rate enhanced, the series x breaths new life into the older franchises. I am very happy with my series x.
First time watching your vids. Really cool you got a Series X and even cooler that you bought physical games with it. I too buy my games physically whether it’s on Series X, PS5, or Switch.

I finally got one a couple of months ago too. Managed to get it on sale, and sold my Series S to put towards it. So glad I did. Best console I've ever owned
I got my series X day one and same for my ps5. I have a gaming pc since 2022 so I won't need the next xbox in 2026.
Quick resume is a very cool feature. Just pop in the CD and it will pickup right where you left off for your last 5 games you have played. I have a physical library of Xbox games so getting a Series X finally made a lot of sense for me last year.
I got luck and had a Series X on day one. I remember opening mine and doing a video…I did the video more for myself to look back on down the road. Definitely a well packaged system

I have found one of my favorite features of the Series X is the Microsoft store. I got lots of great games for super cheap. I got Witcher 3 complete edition for $15. The next gen update was free. I got Cyberpunk for a similar price. I got Guardians of the Galaxy for like $20. I got Lost Odyssey free one day and Blue Dragon for $7. With gamepass and the sales they run it has been great for me.
Series X is nice. I have it in my living room for when I am not at my setup in my room. It is not quite the PS5, but it is still nice. I have only played a little bit of Starfield and as a huge Fallout fan I was a little underwheled with it. I still want to give it more of a chance though..
I got my Series X in October 2023 and I'm very happy with the purchase. Currently playing Alan Wake 2 and I'm having a blast!

Even the disk games for it are basically digital.

What happens if your account gets hacked and you lose all of your digital games? It does happen, because it happened to a friend of mine. He lost all of his digital games and money he spent on them, because of some a-hole who hacked him. At least if you own the disc, you can create another account, and re-intall your games.
Awesome that you have one. It is a pretty good console. I just wish xbox would get their crap together. All those horrible layoffs was terrible. Xbox is trying to force gamers to go all digital. Most of the people who got fired were people who made physical games for Xbox. I really hate it. I prefer my games physical. I import and everything. I buy from a lot of limited print companies. Mainly switch games. Now I know people don't like LRG but they are doing physical xbox games now and thinking about getting some. Every company has problems and LRG does have problems but I like what they are doing with games. Physical forever like they advise. Physical is so much better. Digital games get pulled all the time and even if it is gone, the physical version of those games can still be played. Great video
It truly is. I bought jedi survivor on disc and it only downloaded 3gb from disc and 130gb from network. Silliness
What's so cool about it is that you can buy old games from any Xbox from the Xbox store i think and play them which i think it's cool, you can also insert Xbox 360 games on it and play them as well, gamepass grants you a ton of games, you can play COD exit it out, jump on to Fortnite exit it out, and jump back to COD where you left off without having to load to the menu or anything, then jump back to Fortnite where you left off, which is also cool as hell! Of course anyone can feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but man that's something i wish the ps5 had but you have to buy a different subscription to play backwards compatibility which doesn't offer much unfortunately. I'm trying to save money for an Xbox so i think it'll be worth it for me.

Bought my series X because the physical release of Cyberpunk on series x is the only one that contains the dlc on disc.
I upgraded to a Series X recently too i wish i hadn't, everything i play on Xbox One is all I care about playing the backward compatibility is limited so now i have some games i can't play so i gotta sell them too

Nice! I bought one myself during the weekend. Now I have a Switch, PS5, AND a Series X. Brand loyalty is not only cringe, but pointless. It’s all about playing as much games as possible. I use Switch for the Nintendo exclusives, Sony for its exclusives, and my series x will mostly be my growing number of backwards compatible 360, OG Xbox, and One games, as well as gamepass. Gotta say, love the controller and the user interface. And the console itself isn’t as awkwardly designed as the 5
Going to build a AMD 7600XT PC later this year and possibly get a Xbox Series X. Haven't ever waited this long to get a Xbox.
I was going to get an all-digital Xbox Series S, but after my friend's Xbox account got hacked and he lost all of his games, I am getting Series X instead.
i think youre wrong about no more disc based Xboxes being made. i think theyre just making a disc less version of the X.

It has no good AAA exclusives, most of the games are/will be ported on PS5, PC and Microsoft are killing its studios to try and sell games as a service - Game Pass. It's a sinking ship, and one can only be in denial to stay on board.

The only problem with physical games and Xbox series X, {and Xbox one} the series consoles are too internet dependant. They refuse to work with 360 and original Xbox games without the internet. It was even the same with Xbox one games for the first like, 2 years couldn't play Xbox one games natively as well. After a patch it can. Xbox is dead. I'm just going to keep my xbone x and go PC and stay with Nintendo from here on. Both PlayStation and Xbox are a complete inaccurate shadows of their previous consoles, however, the original disc PS5 can play PS4 disc and 5 disc completely offline with no Internet what so ever without Internet. The Slim however threw all that out the window.
Now you can play Hi-Fi Rush, I highly recommend that game.
I will say that while I don't have an Xbox series console, I'm still rocking a one S but even then I'm only using it as a Blu-ray player. Because I just play games on my PC.

I finally bought one for Starfield and couldn't play it as it made me feel sick in like 10 minutes, Dam! Maybe Hogwarts Legacy will be worth it. But with the news about this being the last physical media console I am kind of doubting if I should delve into buying xbox 360 games and xbox one games for it if I end up with a collection of xbox games that I can't even play after the X dies one day.

With this in mind imma pass my series s down to my wife and kids so the can upgrade from a one original, to an series s. An I finally will upgrade to the series x an enjoy the better performance an graphics

for me i still keep my original xbox 360 and series x and xbox one not all games are playable from the consoles like for me is lolli pop chain saw i still got my 360 copy strangled hold and WET the game are all not compatable on the series x sadly but for me the series x will be my last upgrade i game on ps and nintendo as well my series x is my 3rd party console few exclusive

It's the Greatest Xbox to ever exist. I love mine. We got the Series S too for one of me daughter's and the other daughter uses our very modest PC. It's great we can all play together within the ecosystem.
