Having the disc drive on it opens the door to thousands of other games the digital edition misses out on. There's something special about taking an OG xbox case off the shelf and throwin it in that a digital marketplace can't replicate. Huge W for physical game collecting

It is a great console, but it's a great console with no Exclusive games, and the improvements on old games aren't $500 worth of noticeable. Just my opinion.
@@drummer7557 I just picked up a Series X on Friday. It's great for playing older Xbox and Xbox One games, but as a PC owner, the 1st party games just perform okay. I have Forza Horizon 4 on the PC, and because I had purchased the digital version of PC, I was able to download it on my Series X. There are a lot of graphical compromises on the Series X version.

Having the digital PS5 and just recently getting the series X, I love every minute of the Xbox.
i could never really get into playstation, I played the ps1 and 2 growing up but I just couldn't go back to the ps3 or 4 after having an xbox lmao
Yup, just got mine a month ago and wasn’t planning on it, but with them being more available and on sale, I snagged one anyway. I’m not disappointed at all. My XBox One has gotten slow and loud and nearly sounds like death. So an upgrade was due anyway.

I tell people all the time this Xbox has the best experience I have ever experienced on console speaking as a PS5 owner lol Xbox takes the cake for me this gen even without all the exclusives
I personally haven’t experienced the ps5 but the Xbox series is a great console in itself. It’s speedy and efficient and that’s what’s awesome about it

I have both the Series X and Ps5 disc I can't lie I been enjoying my Xbox the backward compatible games and also gamepass ultimate is near greatness. I like the fact that you can use xbox one controllers with any games considering ps5 you can only use ps4 controller playing ps4 games which is ridiculous. I feel that this generation of gaming is superior and I really don't see the purpose of having a ps5 pro or Xbox upgrade because both system have amazing specs and games aren't even playing stable at 4k60 so it's pointless because games want play in 4k120 until near the end of this generation or even get close to 8k.The series X is so quiet I have played it over 8 hours and no overheating you barely notice you have a system. I brought my Xbox last year on ebay for 414 with two controllers. I love game cloud it is so convenient being able to play games online or story mode not only do it save your progress but u clear alot of storage In my opinion both the ps5 and series x are good consoles I enjoy my ps5 for exclusives and my series X for indie and 3rd party games. I love this generation but I love the 7th generation with the ps3 definitely one of my favorite of all time.
I appreciate the kind words that means so much! Also I agree that the series X is awesome! It is almost perfect when you have gamepass paired with it. Being able to have thousands of games at your disposal from every xbox generation is so cool. I also didnt know the ps5 required you to do that with the controllers that is probably the dumbest thing ever lmfaoo. I plan on getting a ps5 later down the line so I can play both sides of exclusives but for now the series X is perfect for me

Just ordered mine! Even though a new one maybe round the corner, it may not have a bluray drive and I need that! Mainly going to use it for flight sim, forza and other stuff.
I agree I love mine just for having a disc drive. The one that might come out soon is totally digital and even if it looks cool, it can’t play discs 😂
It's the most convenient console on the market. It does a lot of things right and just better than the competition. Things like Game Pass and Backwards Compatability are it's biggest strengths. But I think they could have done more with the controller and maybe introduce a VR headset which can run across Xbox and PC.

if you are annoyed with the capture button, you can remap it with the accesoires app on the console.

I've had mine for a year now and I have no idea why it gets so much hate. Xbox + gamepass will save you so much money on gaming. I don't have to spend $70 on Lies of P. It's on Gamepass. I can use that money for other things like paying off my car loan lol.
Playing new games for free is by far the best part about game pass

The one reason to buy it is for backward compatibility. Can play most of the 360 and Original xbox games, and it plays the last gen games better and with hdr. I can't wait to get this next month 😁

I have had the Series S since launch but it failed due to hardware issues. Should I buy the new Series S black edition or the X if I only play on 1080p/1440p monitor? Will I still have better performance and image quality even on FH? I have serious concerns that GTA 6 won't run good on Series S
I don't play on a 4k monitor personally but the series X is a beast compared to the S. it has almost double the power and just being able to play disc games wins it over for me. GTA 6 probably will run fine on the series S but the series X would be the safest route to go to get the most out of it
I got mine for the price of a Series S, so for that alone it was worth it. Plus, I got the Diablo IV bundle. Free game.

I wanna buy a Series X, but I've read that A LOT of people had a ton of issues with the disc drive not reading certain discs, sounds coming from the disc drive and discs getting stuck in there. The main reason why I want the Series X is for the disc drive. Have you had any issues with your Series X disc drive?
Yes if got tv which favors Dolby vision over HDR tech.

The only reason I want a ps5 is for the exclusives as well. Other than that I’ve got Xbox and PC so I’m pretty much set. The Series X was definitely a worthy buy

A series s is garbage... But the x is a damn good console... I love it... And as a Sony fanboy now i have massive games to play cuz i never played gears or halo... The hardware is insane high quality..
the series s is solid because of its cheap price tag. being able to play current gen games for way cheaper than the X was perfect for how I went about it. but I love the series X way way more
I had the series S for awhile. thinking that I'll get an X for physical games
thats the only thing that drew me to the X, being able to play almost my whole catalog of games on this thing is awesome
I bought mine in August 2023. I love it and it saved me from spending $$$$ on a new gaming PC.

its funny you kept mentioning "next gen gaming" when thats the wrong term you should be saying "current gen" these consoles launched in 2020 and its allready 2024. Three more years and this current gen is done. It felt very fast though for sure.

Why do gen consoles have to last 7 years before the new shiny “next gen” comes out? Why can’t we enjoy and saviour current gen for at least 10 to 12 years. Considering games take waay longer to develop. I mean ps4 still has games coming out for it alongside ps5 which means they’re pushing the ps4 for everything it has. They could do the same for current gen. All i’m saying is i paid good money for my series x and ps5. Not to mention the games i bought. It would be nice to savour it before im compelled to buy next gen and their exclusives and rebuild my gaming library.
@@nmercenary I get what your saying but no thanks. Technology is allways evolving its fair to say 7 years is a consoles life. If it went on past that mark gaming pc's would inevitibly be far more powerful to the consoles more then they allready are.

The digital only version is the Series S which is the white smaller one. It’s less powerful but still gets the job done

I have both systems now but I find myself more attracted to Xbox because of game pass. Both consoles are very good. I like the way Xbox controller feels cause I have big hands PlayStation Spider-Man is awesome & their controller functions are good & has rechargeable batteries. So it depends on u personally. I’m not a fanboy for either one or the other, l just like gaming, period.
