The Entirety of Eurovision is just acting like the Netherlands doesn't exist anymore. Talking about the 25 countries participating in the event and not saying anything about why Netherlands isn't participating anymore. what a sad act for such a huge event.

I’m from the Netherlands, the EBU did something wrong (you can’t disqualify someone only because of a threatening movement)😢
Why should they talk about this again? It’s not the right place and time. The other participants have no fault in that and should enjoy their moment and not lose time talking about the investigation. Also it’s private! U can’t just talk about police stuff without a verdict.
I'm really sorry for the disqualification BUT they did the right thing cause violence in ANY form (physical or verbal) is not tolerated at the ESC and rightfully so! Would they disqualify a country for no reason? I don't think so.
P.S. In my opinion you have the greatest singer in the world Floor Jansen and send someone who doesn't even sing? I say this truly as a compliment for Netherlands !

Gotta say, this is probably the best flag parade I’ve ever seen. The music was perfect, so many acts really hit the beat when their country was announced (Sweden and Ireland in particular), it really kicked off the rest of the night so well without being drawn out and it never felt too long, which is sometimes has a tendency to.
At least Ace of Base was remembered in the flag parade... They had deserved a little bit more space as a big musical group it means in the Sweden and world's musical scene.
Later, when the presenters were teasing about reuniting a band that started with "A" with 3 of 4 memebers, I knew it wouldn't be ABBA, but I reaally thought it would be Ace of Base not Alcazar.

@@popstsaka Netherlands got disqualified due an going on investigation about the way the Dutch performer treated one of the camera operators. As far as I know the thing was: The Dutch guy didn't want to be filmed after the performance and the camera operator kept trying to. The Dutch guy said or did something. The punishment was considered too much by some people and by that I mean, the public, the dutch broadcaster etc, he was one of the favorites to win.

Israel was booed, not applauded. Netherlands was censored. The EBU has a lot of explaining to do.
You can add Portugal to your censored list… and also Israeli delegation has been accused of harassment by several countries.
Yet the public vote was overwhelming
You want an explanation? Okay, here we go:
1) The Dutch representative failed to behave according to the EBU code of conduct that they are _required_ to follow. Not only that, but their behaviour was so bad it even warranted a police report and investigation. For that reason, they were disqualified.
2) The Israeli delegation lived up to the EBU code of conduct, and therefore got to stay.
There you go sweetheart, explanation delivered.
And now you are pulling breath to say: "But I liked the Dutch entry, and I dislike Israel as a nation!" Yeah, well... tough.

The one thing I like about this year's flag parade is the artists are front and center when they are called unlike in the past they parade in the side of the stage or they do not go far front of the stage. Other than that I find this year underwhelming, compared to last year. No past winners performing (2019 and 2023), or some back up dancers (2014, 2021 and 2022).

They've blocked it from some regions, probably to stop people protesting and down voting it into oblivion.
@@sharon6846The live show was geoblocked here in Brazil for the first time since 2017. I had to search on Google and realized they made an agreement with a small streaming service, I subscribed to this service and could watch the show live, but with a longer delay than CZcams, wish I could still watching It on CZcams, tho. Even after the show it's not available to me.
If there's not a live stream of it on here most of the countries in the show have it on their broadcasters app. Like for example Ireland had it on the RTÉ Player app (I think it's free). It'll have that countries commentary but that's fine.
