This hotel is running 100 years. 20years back they served vatukuzhambu,milgukuzhambu 4typeskuzhmbu 2 varieties rasam.nowadays because of cost they're thry are serving 2varities kuzhambu only.super madura lodge😊

There is nothing wrong in saying Brahmin style rasam. We should never discriminate , but can enjoy the differences in things like food, dressing etc. nothing is high or low all same but different decorations that’s all. Like chettinad food etc

Not at all true. The media is projecting so to do cost cutting and earn high profits.
For serving biryani you don't need many waiters and serving vessels. Also, you can price them high stating it to be an exotic food from some other place (like Hyderabad, Lucknow, etc).
Our own Vaazhai ilai food has become costlier in many places. Example in Bangalore for a banana leaf food they easily charge 160+ for an average tasty veg full meals.
We don't have a choice and become like sheep to follow those ads and trends.
At present, Everything is money. No culture; no tradition; no health; nothing. Just Mone, Money, Money!

When ever I visited Trichy I make it a point to have meals at least once in this hotel. Food is Tasty and sumptuous . For curd one need to pay extra ₹10/- This hotel is in existence for almost 50 years.

I was in Tiruchi recently and after going through the reviews in this blog ( I regularly watch Banana Leaf unlimited, whose videos are good to watch with right explanations and detail oriented approach) myself and family members decided to have lunch in this hotel on 27th Dec. My review is one with a difference. I wanted to use the rest room and to my disappointment it was dirty. The staff may be using this rest room for sure.With this kind of rest rooms there is a question mark on hygiene. The food was average which was neither spicy nor tasty. It was a bland food. The best items were Curd and Pickle. Price is attractive no doubt. But for people who are used to a little spice and sufficient salt this fare may not be attractive. Perhaps with my Palakkad background (where preparations are a little different) I found the fare to be below average.
