Thanks for this, came in handy given this weeks Garmin outage. Shared this on Strava with a friend, might be a handy repost for the Group on Strava and Facebook.
Hey Leonard. Love your vids. Just got started into road biking. Got me a cannondale synapse. Any accesories u highly reccomend to start off with? Thanks
Hi there Craig, thats a good question. I have to admit that I have never tried it but I would guess not. You have uploaded a route to the cycling computer so, I would assume it need to be on that route to actually work. I might be wrong, though.
As far as I am aware, you can't create a route on your smartphone but you can find one that someone else has created and transfer it to your Garmin. Stay tuned and I will be making a film about how to do exactly that in the the next couple of weeks.
@@shindi2222Hi there Jefferson, I was going to make it live later today (UK time) but I have literally just discovered a way to make a route using just your smartphone so if you can wait just a little longer, I will make that film and post it as soon as I am able. (Either later today or tomorrow)

Hi Colin, good luck with it. The 520 should be fairly straightforward. By all means, please follow me on Strava. Haven’t seen your request yet but I’ll follow you straight back.
Just was I looking for! Finally my routes show up on my Garmin-device. Much appreciated. Greetings from Denmark...
+Christian XI Hi Christian, glad that I was able to help. Great to hear that I have viewers in Denmark- I lived in Silkeborg for a while.

Glad to help.
Thank you!
Well explained. Works like a charm. Can you ride the route on a trainer seeing it has picked up the various elevation changes and distances?

No, it won’t work. For that, you have to use Swift and a smart trainer.
Thanks.. 👌
