As a member of the House Agriculture Committee and the representative for the hardworking Kansas farmers, ranchers, and producers in the Big First, my view is that the federal government should support producers or get out of their way.
During this week’s House Agriculture Committee hearing, I questioned U.S. Dept. of Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack about USDA’s plans to mitigate costs weighing on the shoulders of producers, what’s being done to protect the health of producers and consumers, and if the department will remove overreaching federal regulations burdening producers.
Who authorized / gave permission to INSTALL BIO-ENGINEERED ingredients into our food sources!!???
Right now an organic farmer faces jail. FDA approval of toxic food is revolting! Get rid of Monsanto! And investigate Bill Gates and remove him and all his stuff and get our land back!!!!
Nothing changes, they found poison in our cereal years ago and never fixed. We need the right to seeds back. We need the rights to small farmers and organic farming!!!!!
