Not gonna lie, when Zaksa messed up that ball for 2:0 I thought they would break mentally, but then again... it's Zaksa. Probably the mentally strongest team out there. They just came out for the 3rd set like nothing happened and continued their good work. What a team.
Perugia already is worse than Trentino, but Zaksa has Mamba Mentality and they are not scared of anybody. Two european titles with two diferent coaches, maybe third this year, amazing. Bednorz is 'the game changer' for Zaksa

Cebulaki Zaksa jest przeciwieństwem Realu Madryt to Perugia jest budowana w taki sposób jak Real Madryt za duża kasa kupując najwieksze gwiazdy na rynku Zaksa natomiast własnie trzeci sezon z rzędu demoluje takie kluby z dużo większym budżetem pokazuje że to nie kasa wygrywa czy największe gwiazdy . Zaksa nie ma największego budżetu nawet w Polsce a taki Real Madry ma największy budżet w Hiszpania i jeden z największych na świecie więc przestancie wypisywać brednie o sporcie którego nie ogarniacie i robić porównania ktore totalnie są chybione .

@@Chuyew az tak bym ich nie porównał jednak są lepsi od PSG nie wspominając o tym że ciągle nie przegrali tego półfinału i tak na prawde trzeba sie nastawiać na dużo cięższy mecz w rewanżu. Perugia widać że nie trafila z forma w najważniejsza część sezonu i zagrała słabo tak na prawde powinno być 3 : 0 w tym meczu . Nie zmienia to tego że to ciągle nieobliczalny i grozny zespół jak odpali to może mecz może wyglądać zupełnie inaczej wiec raczej trzeba się nastawiać na bardzo ciężki mecz w Perugia .

Perugia is the #1 team in Italy and they were insanely dominant. Funny seeing them struggling against Zaksa.

Perugia is full of excellent individuals, and so are some other Italian clubs, but they didn’t play like a good team last night.
Zaksa is a team that haven’t seen so many changes as some of their rivals in Europe and their team work pays off. All of their players made contributions to their win.
It’s still not over though. Perugia will be tough at home but they will be under enormous pressure. It would be interesting to watch the final on Italian soil without Italian or Russian team.
Zaksa doesn't have the highest budget even in the Polish league, let alone compared to a club like Perugia. After each last 3 season when Zaksa wins the Champions League, Zaksa sells some very important player in each of the last three seasons they plays yet evry season with different coach Grbic , Cretu , Samelbuon etc .. Everyone who comes to Zaksa plays their best volleyball and this is the strength of this club
In the match against Perugia, even the best center Huber in league did not play because he still had not recovered from the injury and who was one of the most important players in the victory against Trentino. In this match, he was replaced by Pashytsky, who plays the first season in Zaksa. The MVP of this match with Perugia was Bednorz who came to Zaks in the middle of the season and has been playing for Zaks for few months . It was similar in previous seasons where very important players were also replaced, such Huber also came as a replacement as an unknown player and became the best in the league in this position before the injury , Semieniuk was unknown player without succes in youth volleyball and become MVP champions league last season in Zaksa etc. etc
Zaksa 2021 CL with Grbic Toniutti left after season and come Janusz and become best playmaker in league , Zatorski Left and come Shoji become best libero in league , Kochanowski left and come Huber and become best center in league :)) .

Semeniuk is probably thinking hard why he left Zaksa and went to Perugia but it looks like Zaksa is fine without him.

@@ketrab4942 Resovia has a pretty solid lineup this season. So, it won't be a surprise if they win. But wegiel won the last match against resovia 3-2. I guess we'll never know. Plusliga top 4/5 teams are pretty stacked.
@@kei2298 Jestem Resoviakiem od urodzenia i z pochodzenia. Prawda jest taka, że ten team potrafi wygrać jedynie że słabszymi. Nie wygra walki z jastrzębiem zaksa czy nawet zawierciem. Obym się mylił i jakaś mega forma im ruszy.

What can I say, great game! Congratulations to Zaksa, he certainly deserved to win, not surprisingly some of the players in the team are the backbone of the Polish national team and are among other things the reigning European champions! I'm still optimistic about the second leg, you can win and overturn the result! Come on Perugia! IMPERII SPES ALTA FUTURI

czy ja wiem czy mental? Od początku byli lepsi, zagrywka (błędy) i przyjęcie Perugii to był dzisiaj żart. Też Giannelli nie istniał. Ani zagrywką, ani atakami/kiwkami, ani rozegraniem.
Więc ten mental Zaksy nie był wystawiony na niewiadomo jaką próbę. Jedynie żeby się nie przestraszyć marki Perugii i tego ich pasma zwycięstw.
Mentalny Mount Everest i lepsze widowisko to były w poprzednim meczu gdzie z przegrywania 15:20 (0:1) wyciągnęli złotego seta i zwycięstwo.
Oczywiście nie umniejszam klasie Zaksy (czytać ze zrozumieniem ;) ), bo dzisiaj Perugię zmiażdżyli.
@Marto Melko to nie widziałeś chyba jego meczy w Modenie i Zenicie, skoro przyjales narrację mediów to nie mam argumentów, nie wytłumaczę ci, że nie było mu po drodze z Vitail i Grbic mimo dużo lepszej dyspozycji i jakości. Także obejrzyj sobie sezon chyba 2019 w Le Shoes Modena!

@@maciekmaz2340 no klapki to na oczach masz, bo chętnie oglądałem ligę rosyjską z ngpath i bednim, gdyby był słaby nie wychodził by w tak silnym zespole w 6, trzeba uwzględnić urazy przez które zwyczajnie nie grał, wtedy pomyśl jeszcze raz czy klapa czy nie. Pozdrawiam

@@snrbb9961 Yeah but this is an exception of the Only lasts years, if you look the history of the Championship many teams succeded while in turkey only the same 3 teams with an exception of besiktas a couple years, plus in turkey the tops teams can play with full bench and dominate most of the matches; while if Conegliano play with the full bench risk to lose even with the last one so......
The Italian league is still considered the NBA of men's volleyball but Poland is also up that level.

It is unbelievable that Leon since he is playing for Perugia and Polish NT never won big title. Now in 5 years. Also a lot of big other surprises in men volleyball. Superteams cannot win anything
Volleyball is more technical now and teams can defend better also read players like Leon etc and physical volleyball is not so dominant anymore.

Bednorz is just so good. I don't understand why Gbric keep puching Sliwka as the starter on national team.
Bednorz is good now. Back in 2022 he faced some problems, e.g. abruptly leaving Russia, who has started the war, which negatively impacted his form.
Grbic gave him a chance during VNL and proved that the other 4 outside hitters were far better choice for the NT for upcoming world champs.
And Śliwka is a fantastic player, so always as solid choice. He proved just that during world's semi- and quarterfinals.
Right now - if some international tournament was about to start right now - picking 4 OH for the Polish NT seems a ridiculously tough task.
You have an abundance of talent: Śliwka, Fornal, Bednorz, Szalpuk, Kwolek, Semeniuk, Leon, Gierżot. In that order, IMO.
Yes, Semeniuk and Leon out of the qualifying 4, since they are out of form, but that might change any moment.
Gierżot is a new generation player. Would be interesting to give him chance this year, but I think Bednorz and Szalpuk deserve to be on the NT more. Semeniuk and Leon are next in line.

Śliwka is definitely the kind of guy you want on your team. He will do the dirty work in reception, defense, even setting when necessary, and let the other guys shine in attack. He's also a smart technical player and sometimes his tips or off the block rebounds can drive the opponent insane. He didn't play well in attack in this match, but he's a great alternative to have for the hard hitting guys like Leon or Bednorz. Also he's a born captain, 100% he will be the Polish NT captain after Kurek retires.
@@Unfiltered494 Enough said. Forgot to mention the dirty work that Śliwka excels at. And he does it with a lot o humility.
You won't be picked MVP for that, but it's crucial to Polish playing style - technical, with lot of repetitions, recycles, defense, assecuration, tips.
Of course - as mentioned by @Unfiltered - you need a combination of dirty workers (Śliwka, Kubiak, Janusz, sometimes even Kurek, and of course liberos) with offensive powerhouses like: Kurek, Kaczmarek, Semeniuk, Fornal, Bednorz, Leon, and middles.
This is what exhausts and infuriates teams like Russia NT, Zenit, Perugia - teams playing physical volleyball.
It's good that Śliwka's coaches and teammates recognize these qualities. Shame that fans are not as enlightened.

Russian clubs prefer physical volleyball and such volleyball lost both with technical volleyball France in the Olympic Games and in the Champions League Zaksa won the champions league for the first time with Zenit in the semi-finals too .
When Zaksa wins the Champions League for the first time, Russian clubs played in the Champions League and Zaksa played with Zenit in the semi-finals so they play togather .
Yes, on competition level, it's a pity Russian teams are not here.
But after what Russia has been committing for over one year now, I'm glad with the FIVB's ban.
