Wow! I have to say that in that 3rd set I really didn’t think Zaksa could come back, even though I saw their impressive performance against Lube. But they proved me wrong, incredible determination and dedication, truly inspiring. This is why volleyball is and will always be my favorite sport!
I'm rooting for Zenit, but Zaksa’s has shown amazing game, spirit, chemistry is there, bravo. Cheers from Russia!

Honestly these highlights don't show how competitive this match was at all. Teams did their best fighting for every ball, most points were scored on 3-4th attempt. Congrats to Zaksa, an unbelievable comeback.
A shame they didn’t put the live like for the Modena/Perugia QF😭

I totally agree. We could make at least two national teams out of all these players and both of them would be in top 10 in the world right now.

My heart breaks for all the talented players not getting their spot in NT. There’s just too much competition on basically every position (except for setters, perhaps). It’s sad, but also good for the future of volleyball in our country. Competition means progress 👍.

@@Vballnut2117 I would be lying if I said I knew all of the polish outside hitters and how they've played, but from what I've seen from Semeniuk and Sliwka for example is pretty outstanding.. I used to think that Sliwka is "just" a benchwarmer because I never saw him in the starting lineup in Poland's matches. Or maybe he's just stepped up his game. Szalpuk is also a candidate I guess, but I don't even know where he plays and how he's been doing? But yeah.. for sure one spot should be reserved for Semeniuk, he's been SO good. The other spot is still a mystery for me since I don't have enough info.
@@ristomakela2334 that's fair! Poland released their nation's league roster and they have Leon, Bednorz, Kubiak, Semeniuk, Sliwka, Szalpuk, Fornal and Kwolek as their outsides. I'm assuming they'll take either 3 or 4 to the Olympics, my guess is Leon, Kubiak, Semeniul and Bednorz, but you can honestly make an argument for any of them to make it

45 ataków w meczu. Zagrał ogółem na +23. Kaczmarek na +15. Trzeci na boisku Ngapeth na +10. Przepaść
I'm a kazan-fan, but in my opinion Zaska definetly schould be in the final (and win it, too). They work all together, in kazan Bednorz and Ngapeth are playing much worse than they could, mikhaylov gets not enough attack-chances cause the bad defense.
Trentino are going to be a STEEP hill to climb for Zaksa. I feel like the main difference so far between Zaksa and the other teams has genuinely been age. with Lube Leal Simon and Juantorena are all in their 30s. With Zenit Ngapeth, Butko, Mikhaylov and Volvich are all in 30s meanwhile Toniutti is the oldest on Zaksas side. They have so much more youth and that helps them win longer rallies. But trentino are younger and better. And nimir has been unstoppable.

Please don’t give up on Bednorz, he really works hard and tries his best.
@@Niranye Bednorz played very good games in the russian superleague, but also some bad ones. I think, one of the problems is a mental one. When he had some bad hits in one set, he often can't get over it and tries to hit harder. This leads to more mistakes in the attack. The opponent's serve also goes mainly on him, because ngapeth and golubev are better in defense. (although Golubev is a quite bad libero for such a team)

@@ojtek5699 przecież w tym meczu, jak i ogólnie sezonie semeniuk pokazuje że jest bezapelacyjnie lepszy od Bednorza, ogólnie powiedziałbym że jest chyba naszym trzecim najlepszym przyjmujacym po Leonie i Kubiaku, licze że na igrzyskach będzie można zabrać 5 przyjmujacych przez pandemię i pojedzie i jeden i drugi przyjmujący zaksy

@@patryksiek7863 Trochę przesada, Semeniuk gra świetnie, ale hejt na Bednorza po tym meczu nie na miejscu, statystycznie lepszy od Ngapetha w przyjęciu, zagrywce i bloku, w ataku aż tak bardzo nie odstawał, zdobył łącznie tylko 1 punkt mniej, a przyjmował 2 razy częściej.
Zatorski and Toniutii leads this team perfectly ;)

Swear ngapeth is so lazy. 2:47 he does this all the time. Takes the pass when he shouldn't. Then just stands there not covering or nothing. Then gets upset they lose the point when the ball is put down right in front of him
And the libero is RIGHT there.. For this reason I've never like Ngapeth that much as a player even tho he is a great player regardless. Just a tad too much of an ego on him.

About the pass, yes, this instance it turned to an overpass but he does this all the time and they're usually dimes. unfortunately he shanks one during the money time

@@jamesshone1677 Ngapeth is a better passer than the libero or any other player in his team, that's why if he has the opportunity to pass, other player would give way for him. And in that moment when he just stood there during the middle attack, as I've observed many of his previous matches he's more effective in digging when he's relaxed. And we wouldn't know, he might be able to dig that ball if it goes across to him and not on Butko's side.

Bez przesady ten Ruski środkowy nieźle nim zamiatał przez cały mecz. Ma szczęście do piłek w końcówkach ostatnio.
@@mysteriousdoge1298 gdyby nie zablokował w 3 secie przy wyniku chyba 24:23 albo 25:24 do zenitu to mecz by się skończył 3 do 0 dla zenitu, więc to nie jest przesada że uratował ten mecz.
I dwumecz. Różnica między 0-3 i 3-2 przed rewanżem jest kolosalna.
@@lxtboosss1625 No tak jeśli chodzi o ten blok to zgoda, tak samo jak ta ostatnia piłka, można powiedzieć że mecz uratował ale ogólnie grał słabo i Ruski był dużo lepszy od niego.

Poza tym pierwszy komentarz nie odnosił się do tego jak zagrał kuba w tym meczu tylko że uratował zakse a to jest niepodważalne.

IMO, Butko is doing lots of bad choice on money time. Bednorrz made some mistakes too, but the main reason they lost is there lack of defensive skills and fighting spirit...
The first to blame is the foreign player, so probably Bednorz. They don’t have the balls to blame N’gapeth.
Their chemistry on court is still lacking too.

I love this Kazan team but their setter lacks the ability to maximize his pipe attackers. That could make a difference if they he did more pipe attacks😔
They're Russians. It's how they always play, high ball and attack. They don't play fast volleyball except with middle blockers.

first he s an outside hitter who has to pass and spike - that puts pressure on him and his team. But thats the same for every outside hitter.
Second, he s a poor passer compared to other world class players on his team. Dont get me wrong, he s still and amaizing volleyball player, but his passing is so inconsistent which makes it harder for the setter to get a 4 option play and occaisonally he even conceeds points by shanking and overpassing.
Dont blame it on Ngapeth. Butko is not as good as Toniutti. Regardless of the pass, Toniutti can create a play. Ngapeth can be cocky but damn, he works his ass off. He's a better passer and digger than their libero. Just watch the recently concluded game 2 of the semifinal. He held the team down.
