Being a med student, i would say don't use intimate washes even during periods coz our body automatically have a system of dealing with menstrual blood ❤...just use plain water that's it

Intimate wash generally disturbs the ph . Intimate wash prescribed by dr when you have some problem like itching redness .otherwise water is sufficient to wash the area

Sometimes pH level get disturbed by the period blood. That's why many consider using intimate wash in those days.
yes.... it disbalances the pH level of vagina...... as vagina maintains acidic environment and this wash is basic in nature
Obviously you should use V WASH or else you will smell like shit down there 💀. Our pH increases drastically during periods we need to balance it out and increase the acidic content rather.

The cleaning property you're talking about is about the inside part (vaginal canal) that cleanses itself out. The outside part (vulva) is what should be washed with either water or some mild and unscented ph balanced cleanser.

You shouldn't use intimate wash specially in periods and this v wash has alot of chemicals so if you still wanna use a wash go for a chemical free, this can be dangerous for your ph level specially in periods. Be careful about your body
So very true, periods me toh bilkul nhi us time zda sensitive hoti h skin,, and we don't even need any type of intimate wash they have a lot of chemicals and fragrances in it.

Tbh v wash is very effective for some people who also suffers from infections like UTI ....also v wash is really needed in periods to maintain the pH
@sassychub18 gurl v wash is full of chemicals go search it , you should use a chemical free wash otherwise you might get more infections. Atleast use something authentic specially for such a sensitive area
Ya true isliye I wash with water only I am scared to use that v wash, ajkal sabmai chemical hai yar kisko trust karne ka ek toh skin pehele se hi sensitive ooper se ye delicate area mai Kuch bi nhi dal saktai hai. I think water is fine but don’t use soap also.

My periods are like normal days even when I am in immense pain....
I do maintain extra hygiene and eat more fruits during periods but otherwise it's mostly same....

@@craftcandle2277 It depends. Kisi ko bohot pain hota hai aur kisi ko bilkul nhi. But starting me mujhe bhi nhi hota tha aur ab kaafi zyada hota hai (day 1 and day 2 toh 😖)
Instead of using pads u can use menstrual cups.. Totally safe..
intimate wash is not recommended by doctors...it has perfume in it, which can cause sensitivity and irritatation...also vagina is a self cleaning organ, it doesn't need artificial cleaning

Intimate wash is not a good thing to use in such sensitive area. My derm and gym suggests me to use only water. Using such products might cause many infections later in life since it interferes with the PH level of the vagina.
