That came out killer! I always appreciate videos that don’t edit the mistakes. Seeing the repair is as informative as any other element of the video to me, so thank you for leaving that part in and as always thanks for posting.

Great video. I painted mine just shortly before this came out. I did a silver base with Wicked Gold over that. The candy was sprayed over gold thinking that was the process to create a more candy apple color. It's good to know the "official" process for the future.

So glad tou guys did this video. My father in law just got a 3d printer so i had been looking into what would be best for painting the items we have printed. And seeing as I already exclusively use createx paint this was perfect timing. Will just need to get some of the 4050 and 4051.

Awesome video once again Chris, it still gets me how well the candy's look over the black base. When I first started out spraying cars in the UK (30 years ago) it was always a white or grey primer before spraying red top coats.

Little bit different mixture of these candy colors would make the perfect red for the mk46 I’m building, which has a bit more of a burgundy hue to it. Awesome video!!

Great video. Chris gets half of Fraser's pay for bailing out. :)

What top coat would you recommend for a more flat anodized metallic look (more like a brushed aluminum)?

Hi, I know you guys said that Createx supplied the colors for Ironman (The movie). I have a "War Machine" print that I want to paint and was wondering if Createx also supplied the colors for his Armor suit, and if so could you please tell me the color numbers for those paints? TIA

What adapter are you using for the TH2 for the PPS system? Trying to look for one for mine

Were most of these 2 parts 4050 1 part color payload (autoborne black & red/silver/gold)? It was a little unclear as first was mentioned 2-1 Color & 4050 and after a clarication of 2-1 4050 and color.

Loved this video! Currently working on a similar project and was experimenting with colors. Now I have the precise mixture! By the way, you utilized a 2:1 (4050:Candy mix) with the TH2 airbrush. The Candy2O TDS suggests a max ratio of 1:1. Would appreciate a little more insight regarding this.

Great save! But I thought you were planning on a satin clear?

Was that a cup that attached to the cup on the gravity fed airbrush? If so what is it and where can I find it?

This is incredible! I have a novice question. Building a Mark 4 for my son's halloween costume doing EVA foam instead of a 3D print (I know it won't look as seamless as a print would). Would this paint work on EVA foam primed with black plasti-dip? Excuse my ignorance, thanks!

If I sprayed a 2K clear over the black, will the quicksilver adhere to the 2K without scuffing? And if I scuff won't those marks show through?
