I left when I was 13 in August of 1969 and been here since. 50 years and counting. I'm 63 now but always enjoy your take on NY. Some day I'll go back. Just do your thing bro and let us sit back and enjoy.

NYC is a fascinating place to live, your right, there's always something to see and do. If not just going to Manhattan and walking around was great. Growing up in Queens in the 1950,s my friends and I would take the subway at the age of 11 and 12, with parents permission. It was a different era, we would be on our own in the summer, and there was little concern about trouble. I loved going to Rockefeller Center and Watching the Today through the window on 49th st. Same as today. This was 64 years ago.

NY is a city that we all want to explore in depth, especially for people who live in other cities around the world; unfortunately, not all of us are going to have that opportunity, but thanks to your videos we can somehow get to know some social, cultural and economic aspects from a distance; and we can even compare them with our own cities. I always do it while I watch your work.

Well done Ken 👍 and my gosh are people curious about private life : " are you married ? How old are you ? Where do you live ? Do you have a girlfriend ? What's your real job ? Do your parents live in Nyc ? Do you live with them ? Wow wow wow people, this is the internet world ! Privacy is very important in this crazy world ! What are those silly questions ? Leave him alone, he's working very hard, he needs concentration and peace.
Nowadays people too busy with their precious phone !
Read books people ! Go out in the nature, move, do something of your pathetic lives instead of being that curious. I can't believe it !
Silly questions. Ask about his material, his walk NOT private stuff !
Well done Ken, you kept your life private for 1h30 , i would've ignored that kind of questions. 👍👍

I got a kick out of that and have enjoyed all your videos that I have been able to see since then. When it's your first time in New York you better spend your time to discover Mahhattan it self. For historic Dutch items look for example: The Dyckmanhouse west upper Manhattan; Historic Richmond Town on Staten Island ("Voorlezerhouse"). Brooklyn: Dutch Reformed church (intersection Flathbush Ave - Churchstreet). Old church dutch graveyard; Pearlstreet corner with Coenties slip parts of an old dutch Tavern and "Stadhouse". But there's more much, much more to discover. Look at the streetnames like Amsterdam Ave subwaystations like New Dorp; New Utrecht. Brooklyn-Breukelen; Harlem - Haarlem. Just make more trips to NYC and become a NYC-Fan also.

44:33 I thought those kind of motorbikes don't exist in the US. Well, they are at least rare to see them there.

Good note. I don't see many people smoking. Good for you NYers!

If you use a regular phone, they don't care at the museums (I have taken video and pictures many times); but I think if your camera looks professional they won't let you. Also, Goldstar offers discounted tickets (including Empire State Building). However it's only for the 86th floor. If you want to see waterfalls, the North Woods in Central Park North is where you go; which I found fascinating. I love the City of New York Museum. Side note: I like how you answered every question (including the weird ones....lmao!!). Great video.

Thank you! I’ve been stopped before for taking video on a phone at museums.

@@ActionKid Oh really? I know some museums don't allow pictures or video, but they will state it specifically. Luckily the ones I went to didn't have that policy. 😉

and yes Gilbert G. is on the 8th ave. tape toward the end he passes right by your camera! lol I'm a fan so I went back to watch and there he was!!!! You could do a separate video edit the celebs out of your videos and start a new one. TKS AK. it was a treat!

Good Grief!!! You answered some questions. Some curious people out there. You should play guess where ActionKid works. Steve Bushemi put stuff outside on his stump (lives in brownstone) for his fans and the neighbors took him to court over it cause people were waiting outside his home. .hahaha He started " Guess what's on Steve Buscemi's stump" He won.

It is neat to know your family heritage. I tell people I am a 47 Heinz ketchup. Irish and Austrian with some Native American I guess.

You should add a little live GPS map on top corner so we can see where you're while you walking...

    • @ActionKid
      @ActionKid  Před 4 lety +1

I’ve tried it before but the phone app I used for the GPS was unreliable and many people found the map distracting.
