Very nice review, great Job! Did you talk about fuel economy?if you did i missed it, i do have the Vitara turbo with the same engine and fuel economy is great, with this little thing on a manual must be insane.
I have one as my demo, it's ace, has DAB and thank goodness the UK doesn't get the automatic! It's a great car.

I was waiting for a swift sport 2018 pov since the announce. Very well done except one little thing i have to say... You should've drive it "sporty", so we can see its acceleration, engine sound at high rpm. Its a sports car, not a family hothatch. Anyway, good review !

Glad we could help! Exhaust isn’t as loud as some other hot hatches but it still satisfying.
Test drive done. Shit, it's actually quick!, so fun to drive. To the bottom right of steering wheel is buttons for traction control etc. Any idea what the blank buttons are for? Imagine Japan gets some features Australia doesn't but can't figure out what it is.
You don't mention the radar braking and cruise which while I don't use it is worth mentioning, and drive it properly, you can explore its limits, it goes really well!

I'm very mad that Suzuki left the US market but at the same time they never sold the Swift over here outside of the 80s- early 90s market which sucked as well.
I like the previous gen more because of the styling.

nice review mate. one thing i dislike about these new cars is the high seating position compared to having a sporty low feel closer to the ground. how did u find the seating in this car?
Thanks Daniel, seating was fine for me. Being tall I prefer not to sit that low anyways. I was surprised the rails went back far enough for someones who's 190cm.
I'm a little bit taller again and own the 2010 sport. Better knee clearance thanks to Dshape wheel. Seating position felt good
You relly didn't answer the man properly. Anyway for a prober answer to your question is that the Swift sport has one of those relatively high sits you dislike so you will be disappointed there.

Yeah I´d guess 16 too. But I imagine that you could probably achieve 6 if you really drive slow.
a car magazine try the vitara S with same 1.4 turbo engine but also awd and bigger and heavier car, the fuel economy with freeway/city/countryside roads was 14.3 km/l on average
so for this smaller, lighter and fwd car 16km/l is very easy

Swift Sport 970 kg/140 hp=!!!0,144!!! HP/KG
So yeah, they are pretty much on par with performance, but if the suspension and overall handling is as good as previous models, the Swift will easily win.
And next time, please di a favor, do a research before you start typing...
The previous atmo swift sport could beat a Golf GTI at the Magny Cours track in France (see zeperfs.com). The current stock Vitara 1.4 turbo auto can match a current V8 Mustang at Sydney Motorsport Park, Eastern Creek, thanks to its supercar brakes and superb handling. Never underestimate a Suzuki.

I think that the previous version (zc32s) looks better outside but I like interior the this one
Also I think that speed whit the previous version an acceleration are better than the previous making 0-100 in 6.8 second

Rigraj Pathak maruti will launch this car on auto expo 2018 on 7th February . But maruti will not launch the sports model or Rs model or the haibrit model .They launch the normal 3rd generation swift. Although the dealer has started talking booking for it at 11000 rupees.
