Purity seal : It's a mark of a Space Marine pure faith or morality in the eyes of the Emperor and the Chapter. Such seals are only ever awarded by the Chapter’s Chaplains, bestowed onto Space Marine before battle as the Chaplain bestows a blessing onto the ranks of Space Marines. In many Chapters, this is a solemn ceremony accompanied by chanted litanies in honour of the Primarch and the Emperor. This can be because they are about to undertake a special task or mission or because they are not expected to survive. Unlike other Honours the right to bear a Purity Seal comes only after a Space Marine has worn it in battle and proven his courage to live up to its ideals. Typically a Chaplain will bestow a Purity Seal on a Space Marine with a specific blessing, such as killing a certain foe or number of enemies for the Emperor, or completing his duty even when mortally wounded. If the Space Marine returns successful, he has proven the blessing true. He is considered to have the favour of the Emperor and is granted the right to wear the Purity Seal on his armour permanently so that others might recognised his faith and devotion

Seeing it as one whole piece is so much different than seeing you put them on one by one. It's kinda less overwhelming when broken down and motivates me to want to tackle down armor builds xD

You did such an awesome job! The scarring and blind eye really brings your look to the hard-core bad ass level, and still you managed to remain beautiful. This and the Blood Angel from Gottenberg are my favorite cosplay costumes ever :)
Really great attention to detail. The scarred half of the face gives a really intimidating edge to the costume.

It's very interesting to see how you solved some problems like how you think of what's visible rather than how you would usually make it if it was a normal garment.
Also very interesting to see how you actually attatch the stuff so it stays on for the day but not permanently!

My human side dislikes the Heresy I am seeing. The necron side of me still wants you dead but for other reasons. Those reasons being that you're bringing chaos to my tomb world.
You're awesome. I've always wanted to build a sob convent, since 3rd edition, when my whole group forced me into playing Dark Eldar. Economic pressures, friendships and free miniatures contributed to the growth of my army. I love painting and reading. I mostly paint with oil on canvas.
During WW2, the Japanese Pacific force massacred an entire convent of Australian nuns on Banka Island.
This atrocity has always inspired my passion for the sob and angels...
I often pray at the Banka memorial shrine and I shall one day save for an entire company of Seraphim.

never really watched cosplay videos but that is a marvellous sister superior, with the iron halo as well.
I like to imagine this is the type of vid The Adeptus Sororitas shows their recruits when it comes to putting on their power armor. Up-beat happy music, nice lite room, etc. vs being dark and brutal.
A very small but very important detail: you forgot the *fleurdelys tattoo* under the right eye, symbol of the Sisters. Amazing cosplay anyway.

@@stephanociraptor It's in almost every illustration / artwork, including official GW ones. Maybe not cannon, but pretty cool + so easy to do. It would have added lore authenticity in my opinion.

Looking at the tasset placement you could make it a more stable placement using a couple pieces of elastic and worbla shaped to follow the curve and attach using a couple pieces of velcro that can also help hold up the thigh armor.
I hope I can achieve this cosplay level some day
Have you ever considered having High-Res scans of your SoB build (or at least portions of it) to adapt to 3d printing? You did such an amazing job!!! I think if you did, you'd become the mother of the SoB Cosplay movement en masse?

She is stunningly beautiful even without a single piece of the armor on. I'd find it hard to pay attention to any other cosplay at a convention if I saw her walk by!
Its one thing to consider how much effort goes into making something like this - its another to to see how much effort goes into simply getting into the thing!

love the craftsmanship of the cosplay, it looks absolutely stunning. while i understand the need for the fur piece, to cover up the only flawed area of the costume, it just doesn't work that well for me. beyond that, beautiful.

If you can tackle a Sister of Battle costume, then tackling a Callidus Assassin costume should be child's play for you! May I suggest that idea next?
(And while entire legions of Space Marines are being corrupted and falling to Chaos, the Sisters of Battle hold strong and true! So we know who the Emperor's _real_ servants are! (Miriael Sabathiel was an isolated incident. She doesn't count!))
It's cool to see how the cosplay comes together. I never thought about all the little pieces that come together to make the complete suit before now.
Seeing all the *machine being put whole, To Glory of The Emperor* is soo coool!
The only little thing is the lack of a *Magnificent Glorious* soundtrack, to accompany the Menacing posture.

Very impressive, infact the only difference between what you have made here and some real life historical armour is the materials and a few extra straps. Its very similar to the late western roman, and of course - you absolutely nailed the look.

I'm not sure about that one heavy bolter .... tho the codex allows the formation of Celestia fireteams :>
@@DonTekNO No idea about the codex due out in November, but at the very least 2nd ed rules allow the squad to have heavy bolters. Although to be fair, it does not matter for we'll have a squad of Sisters of Battle cosplayers, and even the God-Emperor would approve of that.
They could certainly hold my bolter.
There was an entire squad of them at SDCC this year.
