- I finally spent under $100 at Aldi! Granted, I went to Walmart the day before but still! It was a win for me haha. And make sure to keep watching because I film myself with a lovely viewer who works at Aldi! I just love this store, can you tell? Oh AND the dollar tree of course!

Do not let negative comments influence what you buy for your family. Please buy as much bread as you want. It's your money and your family. You can do so much with bread. I live with my partner and he and I consume a lot of bread. I get about 2 to 3 of those baguettes, the hot dog rolls, the burger buns, sometimes the naan and flat bread. Plus my partner gets a loaf of Martin bread at Target. We both work full time so we use it to make toast, grilled cheese, pb&js, egg sandwiches, for burgers, for chicken sandwiches, you name it. Any one leaving a negative comment, please go away. What works for you (person leaving the negative comment) may not work for everyone else so please be nice.

Your family is in perfect shape. What works for you might be different from what works for others. Don't make changes in diet unless it makes sense for your family. Europeans eat bread and are generally quite healthy. ❤

So I followed along with what you bought and estimated the prices where I'm at...in Seattle area all those items would have cost around $135.40 and that's the "budget" groceries like Winco, Grocery Outlet, and QFC (Kroger). While it was fun to follow along out of curiosity, I can't help but feel jealous that you bought all that for under $100 😅

The buckets is a great goody bag idea. I alway got character plastic cups and filled them up for goody bags. Figured it was something useful and not just something to throw in the trash.

The bread we eat are usually for sides… garlic bread, naan, & cornbread. Other than that, we were rarely buy loaves of bread anymore. I used to buy it because my kids used to like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches….I think it just depends on what meals you eat that require the bread portion. I do want to try that chocolate chip brioche though 🤤

You and i think the same soo many times it kinda freaks me out cause were the same age too. I just had to make gift bags for my 6 yr olds friends and i did the exact same thing! I bought a thing of sand toys that came with a large round sand strainer and i filled it with snacks. At the dollar tree at well! Wanted them to get use out of the container instead of throwing it away exactly like u said!

I think their teriyaki chicken thighs are just okay. The tomato basil thighs are much better! And I bake them with some mozzarella cheese on top 😋
I never truly realized how prevalent bread is in meals until I was forced into a candida diet. It is so tough to stay away from so anyone eating eat, don’t feel guilty. Most foods are complete with bread in some form.
You can intake as much bread as you please! People always got something to say regardless of what you do. At least most of your meals are homemade

Why are people being diffecult about the bread? In the Netherlands we eat lots of bread. Breakfast and lunch. Sometimes diner with soup. But also as a Snack 😅. I believe more countries in europe are like rhat. Afcourse we also eat other things like oatmeal and flakes. But many peole eat lots of bread over here😅
