Fellaini is class in his own way. If you dont see it, you only look the ball in games. His defensive positional sense is amazing. He must follow the managers orders very well. Allways at the right place making it very hard for the opposition to strech us with height and direct passing.
Is he the right man against Guardiolas tiki-taka style? It will be interesting to see who starts.
Personally I'd rather Schneiderlin. Fellaini could get rings run around him if Guardiola isolates him.

If were talking about changing the game, it has to be our bench. Mhki, Jesse and Marcus will blow any tired legs out of the water. Then think if were winning, Smalling can come on in the midfield as Jose seems to like to do. So, we have crazy pace to chase a game, and steel in the midfield to protect the game/ slow down the tempo.
Smalling in midfield? Surely he'd come into defence and Blind would go a bit further up.
Completely disagree with Sergio Romero. Only played a few times and he has played well. Think about when de gea got injured in the Europa.
He still scares me as a goalkeeper, good shot stopper but his intelligence isn't all there.

Nice, I like it, Blind is going to be composed wherever he plays. I suspect our team will be looking different at Christmas than it does now.
Yeah, blind would be able to distribute passes better than fellaini and he can also defend well. And with smalling and eric defending, that would be almost impenetrable.
Romero's a quality No.2. Good shot stopper and decent at distribution. Just bad with the ball on the ground. I'd take Romero over Mignolet
Choosing Romero or Mignolet is like choosing which arm to chop off.

They have a great team but games are not played on paper, its about the fight ambition and drive of the players as well. There is no way to rate mentally how strong each player is in their respective position. Does travelling for international duties affect the palyers? Who travelled more the city or United players?
Valencia comes back the day before the derby which makes it tough for him.

Best our bench has looked in a long time for sure.
Carrick/Schneiderlin cannot start in City, Arsenal,Chelsea or Tottenham maybe Liverpool but I would rather Henderson than Carrick his old. Schneiderlin does not impress me.
+sixsigmasix Ibrahimovic and Carrick are the same age so by your logic Ibrahimovic is old and past it too? Carrick is a solid central Mid and has been for 10+ years for United. He wasn't given another year if he couldn't play all of a sudden. I'm not convinced by Schneiderlin yet either but to say Henderson is better than Carrick is a wind up, surely. Did you watch Henderson for England against Slovakia? I'd rather Carrick than Coquelin any day and in Ander Herrera to that conversation as well.
